"You talked to Von?" Lesley questioned me, sitting in my bed as she watched me do my hair. "Can't believe you lied and told me y'all wasn't talking anymore."
"Well it's not a lie anymore." I told her bluntly, continuing to do my hair carefully with Kamille in my lap. "Don't even wanna talk about that shitty ass nigga."
"Oh? You forgetting you the one that told him y'all wasn't finna be fucking no more."
I kissed my teeth, "I mean yeah I told him that but damn, he never be taking me serious. I'll say 'I'm not fucking wit'chu no more' and he'll be like 'No'. He told me okay after I said it, bitch I gagged."
Really humbled the hell out of me.
I hadn't gotten a word since he left to take Kiyomi to the Emergency Room which was almost a month ago. It had me thinking about why I said all that, just to be feeling a type of way once he followed my instructions.
I would hate, hate, hate to have to come to terms with the fact that I was getting attached and overwhelmed. I felt bad, being that he was always helping me out when I needed it and I was just being dismissive of him.
Haven't even really been giving him 'thank you's or just common courtesy.
"But you know what?" I exclaimed after taking another sip of the vodka in my cup & moving it far out of Kamille's reach, covering her ears afterwards. "I'm finna go shake my ass and go clubbing. I'll just find me another nigga with money, dreads, abs, a Hellcat and a big dick! That's fine! I'm up, he down!"

Uncovering her ears, I stood up with her on my hip. "No, the first step is find a new nigga. Can I get a amen, Kamille?!"
"..." She stayed quiet, busy watching the episode of My Little Pony on TV.
"She ain't hear a word you said."
"This her show, she don't be giving a damn about me when these ugly horses come on the screen." I carried her out of the door, heading over to Kiyomi's room. "Kiki! I'm ready to go." —Opening the door myself once I got sick of waiting.
