When the car got accident along with Varu Karuna, Jai, Devki and Aditya also fell down in the river but she fall in opposite side of them. When karuna fell down her head hit with a big rock and get unconscious.With very difficulty they got save from the river. They took Karuna and Varu ti hospital.Others are fine despite of Karuna and Varu. And she went in coma. For the world they were dead but this is the truth. Devray hide this truth for the security of their family because they knew that it was a planned murder attempt. So they kept this as a secret. Karuna got her treatment secretly in Joshi hospital's secret VIP room. Despite of Devray and Varun Only few doctors knew about karuna in the hospital.They sent Jai and Adiki to their personal house in Canada secretly for their safety. The fact is that in Joshi Mansion only Debanya and Raytwika knew about this as it safe that much people were unaware of this.

Varun: Karuna aunty aaj apko rest karna hoga 5 saal se coma main hai so weakness hoga aapko. Do din aur uske baad aapko yaha se mukthi milega. After 2 days main aapko distarge karoonga. (To Devray) Thum donon aunty ke paas hi rehna ok mai nurse ko bolke aunty keliye khane ka intezam karoonga. Aur haa canada main phone karke aunty aur uncles ko apni vanvaas complete karke vaapas aaneko kehdo. Bye

(Then they continue their talk. They want to share all the incidents occur in past 5 years without leaving a single word. After spending time with her they go back to Joshi mansion and inform Rinu about karuna. So now they don't want to hide this truth from their family so they open their mind before their sisters and children. And inform Adiki and Jai to come back to India.)
After 2 days
Whole Joshi mansion are waiting for Karuna. Varu is the main person who is excited since 2 days. As she is going to meet her mom after 5 years. Whom she thaught that died is now going to come in front of her healthily.

Aaj mumma vaapas aanewali hai. Still I can't believe that she is alive. Aane do usse mai ek aise tight hug dedunga jaise koi mujhe unse kabhi alag nahi kar saktha aur kal paapa bhi aanewala hai unke saath mom dad bhi. Mai unsab ke saath bohut time spend karoonga bohut enjoy karoonga khoye hue 5 saal ke kami mai zaroor poori karoonga
