As I was about to check my phone to know why my taxi was taking so long to arrive, a driver lowers his window down and asks "is this y/n y/l/n?". "yes it is, is this my taxi?" I ask. "yes it is." he says as if he doesn't have time to keep chatting. I open the back seat and get in. I immediately call Alissa to feel safe and place my location on, even though I order this myself. When we arrive, I admire the restaurant. It was so big and tall and the windows were in spherical shapes and golden lights coming out of them. "this is your destination" says the driver, I give him his money and said "thank you, have a lovely day!" When I enter the restaurant, I see my date waiting for me so I check the time to see how long he's been waiting. it is now 9:39. so I guess it isn't that bad, I mean at least he wasn't waiting for 10-15 minutes even though it was only a minute before 10 minutes. I walk over to him and apologize for being late. "This is such a lovely restaurant, I am so sorry for being late Alex!". I finally decided to mention his name. "Oh don't worry about at least you didn't leave me waiting for 10-15 minutes" he says so nicely. Yea that's exactly what I thought, expect if I was one minute late it would've been 10 minutes, but that didn't matter anyways. We ordered what we wanted and started a stable conversation until I saw someone that I swore I saw before arriving at the restaurant. "Excuse me Alex but I'm going to restroom, I need to touch up my makeup" I lied. "Go ahead, but I think you still look beautiful!" He says. As I'm going to the restroom to text Alissa if João was there, I felt a tap on my shoulders. And when I turned around I saw someone who I never wanted to see again. Margarida Corceiro. This girl made me suffer in school and I would always say that I would get revenge but never did because I wasn't that type of person. "Hey..long time no see magui!" I say in a false bitchy way. Wow now I sound exactly just like João. Great. "heya.. what was your name again? y/f/n? right?" she says as if she didn't remember who I was. "actually no it's y/n." I say firmly. "Well it was nice to see you, but if you don't mind I need to go into the restroom see ya later" she says pushing past me. "well it wasn't nice to see you and you were the one who stopped me from going in" I muttered underneath my breathe. When I was walking back to my table, I overheard a conversation that sounded like.. JOÃO AND A GUY. I had to quickly get out of here before he saw me. As I quickly sprint towards the hallway, I hear someone call my name. I already knew who it was but I had to pretend. "y/n? what are you doing here, I thought you said you were going to Alissa's house?" he asks as if he was disappointed I lied. "I could ask you the same thing. You told me you were going there as well?" I say in the same way but firmly. "João?? JOÃO WHERE ARE YOU?" shouts that irritant voice that belongs to Magui. "oh there you are..oh. do you know who she is?" she asks in a way that makes me want to pull an ursela on her and take her damn annoying voice. sorry I got too carried away. "yes, I do, she's my friend." he says in a tone that makes him regret that from happening. "where did you meet her?" she asks. "we meet on my first of school magui." I say firmly. "well okay, let's go João " Magui says In a jealous tone. I was shock when I found out that not only did he have a date, but that it was magui corceiro. THE ONE WHO BULLIED ME IN SCHOOL!!?! I mean I can't blame João I kinda did the same thing, I lied about going to Alissa's house and having date and not telling him and..I didn't tell him that Magui did all those horrible things to me. "y/n do you need a ride home?" João asks even though he was clearly upset about what happened. I mean I should be upset too. "NO!..I mean she has a date right, so he must drive her right??" Magui interrupts before I can even respond for myself. "actually he just texted me that he had to leave for an important thing and I didn't know I had someone who speaks for me." I said in harsh tone. "excuse me?" magui sounds surprised as it is the first time I stood up to her and her stupid arrogant attitude of hers. "You are excused Margarida Corceiro." "okay that's enough let just go now." João says. "okay then" magui says whilst eyeing me. "you should fix your eyeliner cos it looks ridiculous right now and wonky" I mutter under my breathe once again. "what did you say?" she asks. "oh nothing" I respond.
