I quickly rushed upstairs after ending the group call with Alissa and João, to get ready. I mean I only have an hour and 40 minutes to get ready and we might be going on a roadtrip, well hopefully because I really love road trips especially when you get to stay the night in!! 30 minutes pass by and I still don't know what I'm going to wear. I still need to prepare my bag just incase we decide to go on a road trip. By the time 10:00 am hits the clock, I already had an outfit picked out just in time. I had packed my silky pajamas that me and Alissa have that match with the same pattern. Alissa has baby blue and I, baby pink. I now only had 40 minutes remaining to pack some snacks and to do my makeup. I barely wear any so I only put some mascara and lipgloss on. After making sure that everything was ready for me to leave the house, I picked up everything I was going to take with me and waited outside my doorstep for João and Alissa. João was going to pick up Alissa first because she lives right around the corner to his. We all live pretty close to eachother. I live 5 minutes away from Alissa, Alissa lives 4 minutes away from João, meaning that me and João live approximately 9 minutes away from eachother. As I check the time, it is currently 10:38am, meaning that they should be here to pick me up in about 2 minutes so I get off my doorstep and lock my door and sit back on it. BEEEEEEP! "hey girl get in the car" Alissa shouts out of the back seat. I pick up my stuff with a smile and walk towards the car Infront of me. "hey guys! are we going on a road trip?" I ask, knowing damn well that we are just by looking around at the luggage at the back of the car. "YES OH MY GOD HOW DID YOU KNOW 😱?" says a voice sarcastically coming from the passenger seat aside João who's in the drivers seat. wait..is that..no I can't be sure..I mean I can't even see them. As I sit at the back with Alissa, I try to get a sneak peak on who it is. I should have known. it's goddamn Margarida. Margarida Corceiro. "well good morning to you too magui!" I say in the same tone. Alissa nudges me. "be nice to her." "I'm trying but she's not helping." I say back and all I get is a look that suggests to just stop. Listen I can't help it when I'm in a closed area with someone who gives off negative vibes. As João drives, he asks me and Alissa what song we would like since he has no idea on what songs to play. After me and Alissa finally decided on what songs we wanted, Alissa went on to tell João. "wait babe, why did you change the song?" asked magui. "because Alissa and y/n wanted it?" he says back. "well you didn't ask me if I wanted to change it" she says. "magui..I actually did..3 times, I even asked if you were sure and you said positive so i don't exactly see the problem here" João adds. "well I'm sorry you didn't need to snap at me. if you are going to do that, then you can just drop me off and I'll walk back home." magui says. I just know that João's response to her pointless tantrums wasn't the exact response she was hoping for, but it was what I and Alissa were hoping for. After almost 2 hours, we had already arrived at our destination, Algarve. "omg finally we got here I wouldn't stand another second in this car with these two bitches" said magui locking eye contact with both me and Alissa to let us know that she's talking about us. No way. Ain't no FUCKING way she just said that to us right now. "MAGUI, you can't-" said João before he was interrupted by Alissa. "oh I just KNOW you DID NOT just say that to us like that" said Alissa. "oh but I did" responded magui. "magui, stop this isnt-" João tried to speak once more but this time he was interrupted by me. "you're the only bitch here, plus you weren't supposed to be here right now, so if you wanna leave, be our guest, me and Alissa never wanted you and bitchy ass self to come here with us. and just because you woke up on the wrong side of the bed today just like any other day, and you decide to wake up and choose violence does not mean I will keep putting up with your shit cos it ain't my problem and its gonna stay like that." I spin back. "I..er. whatever" says magui speechless. Now all João, Alissa and magui look at me speechless and only one of them looks proud of me after which is Alissa, who then starts clapping and adds "magui, why are you so quiet all of a sudden?" "cat got your tongue now huh?" I say. "y/n, Alissa, that's enough." João says. it feels so good and relieving to finally put magui in her place. "whatever" me and Alissa both say.
