I watch João walk magui from the car to her house. I use this alone time in the car to think about what I've done and what I should tell João and Alissa. I know I'm in the wrong but he's in the wrong as well isn't he? well at least I think so. I text Alissa to tell her I'm on the way home. As I'm texting, the car door opens along with a shout "BYE MAGUI SEE YOU ON SATURDAY!" João enters the car and starts the car. As he's driving, we sit in silence. awkward silence. REALLY awkward silence. He turns on the radio and says "so..how was it?" he's probably trying to break the silence but oh well. "how was what?" I ask. "you know what I'm talking about y/n" he says. "I don't know what you are talking about João" I say a bit harshly. "your date y/n thats what I'm talking about" he says in a frustrating tone. "well it went great, what about yours " I ask in the same energy. "WELL IT WENT GREAT TOO" João shouts. what got him so angry? "why are you shouting at me?" I ask in the calmest voice I can do at the moment. "don't worry ". don't worry? he's shouting at me for absolutely no reason at all and then tells me not to worry. okay. "okay." I say back. "okay? y/n are you feeling good?" João asks in an insulting way. "yes I am, whats wrong with you?" I say back. "y/n?..I-..I'm sorry" João says. "sorry for what." I ask. "for insulting you I was just... mad okay?" "er..okay it's fine I guess". there it is again. that same old awkward silence. "we're here" João says. "thank you for dropping me off João" I say. "it's okay y/n I'll text or call you later okay?" he says. "okay João, bye have a good night" I say. "bye my love" he says driving off. "my love?" I say to myself. my love. I'm confused on what he meant, but I'll probably just ask him on the phone later. but that phrase is now stuck in my head. my love.
