Reunion

For this week music broadcast, the duo group, M&D won the champion with their 2nd mini album, Rise.
Since Midnight is a rookie group, they were told to stand at the very back of the stage. Aeri thought she finally could go back home and rest after 14 hours of works, she was wrong. dery dragged her to the very front of the stage to greet the duo.
To her surprise, the duo greeted them back with the same excitement, especially the guys, except for her. She was just bowing awkwardly while they were joking like friends.

"Wait for us." The leader of the duo, Mark- if she remembered correctly, told the guys secretly while his partner, Donghyuck- was singing his part during the encore stage.

"What was that?" She asked them immediately when they got off the stage, away from the fans' eyes.
"Oh right, she was not there yet." Yangyang teased.
"Then, care to elaborate so this 'she' can be informed and not acting like a dumb loser during your unplanned interaction." Aeri dodged back.
"We'll tell you after this."

She was impatient, yet the time was limited. It was not that long for the duo to finish their encore and came down.

The guys immediately pulled each other into hugs, even some kisses as well. Aeri tried to hold in her laughter when that donghyuck sneaked a peck on jeno's cheek before they released the hug. Jeno's reaction was hilarious.
"still a tough man, my nono." Donghyuck escaped to hide behind his leader before his throat got choked.

"Nono?" There, she lost it, laughing out loud.which caught their attention. At the point, she wanted to vanish into the wind.
"Hi." Mark was the first one to break the ice, with his outgoing persona, and genuine smile.

Oh wow

"You must be taeyong hyung's sister." Donghyuck stepped forward, eyeing her up and down. "I could be so wrong. You look nothing like him though-"
"Hyuck." Mark pulled him back before he could've made this more uncomfortable for her.

"This is giselle. Our new joiner, and main vocal." Hendery pulled her gently next to him. "And yup, she's taeyong hyung's only sis."
"Hello." Aeri bowed respectfully at them, since they're still the senior to her.
"No need for the formality between us." Mark told just immediately, cracking awkward laugh in between sentence.
"Yeah, these are our brothers," hyuck wrapped his arm around yangyang and dery's shoulder. "...which also make you our sister." ending with a wink.

"Alright, should we go for a drink?" Mark suggested the idea for the celebration. "For your debut, and our first win."
"Come on guys, hyung's paying anyway." Donghyuck claimed which received another glare from his leader.
That idea sounded great for the guys, not for her. She felt like she's not going to fit in. Besides, it's their first reunion after a while, the guys should be enjoying their best time without having the burden of having a new joiner around.

"I have to inform our manager first." Jeno spoke, breaking her thought. His gaze met her. "wanna come with me?"
He's coming as her rescue again. "S-sure. I need to use uh..restroom." She bided farewell to the duo and grabbed jeno's wrist, dragged him away from the group.

Little did they know, the guys still had their eyes on them.
"Is the history going to repeat itself?" Donghyuck nudged yangyang, making the younger guy frowned, but soon noticed the implication.
"Hyuck." Mark warned him. "Don't say that."
"Them?" Hendery snorted, and crossed his arms. "The only thing gets me worrying everyday is them urging to kill one another." Shaking his head in disbelief.
"Oh?" Donghyuck turned to him, showing full interest.
"Aeri might look kind, but don't get fooled." Yangyang added. "She's my partner in crime." Wiggling his brows.

"Interesting, eh?" Hyuck smirked.
Mark smacked any evil thoughts out of his head, to receive a long painful whine from the younger male. "Hyung, what the-"
"Stop whatever you're thinking or TY is gonna get you."
"Nah." Yangyang shook his head. "I'm sure she can personally handle him. She's like the female counterpart of our captain. I remembered almost having my lung flying out cause of her smack."
"Naur. I'm out. One lee jeno is enough. I still need to breath." They all laugh at hyuck's reaction.
"You won't have to be on survivor mode everytime if you don't trigger them." Mark reminded him when he caught a glimpse of jeno running towards him, but no sight of the girl.
