Midnight

Weird

after clearing his mind, jeno went back to taeyong's studio. he almost forgot that aeri was alone.

as he entered, he was greeted by her back. she's staring straight down to the city underneath through the clear glass window.

the sun set quite half an hour ago. slowly, the day has gone, and darkness took the throne in the sky.

the beautiful crescent moon slowly became more visible, companied by stars.

aeri found herself fascinated at the blinding neon lights of the city, and chaotic traffics, instead of the peaceful night sky.

"dear valued audience, the first Snow will be tonight. please be careful on your travelling..."
the news reminded.

jeno carefully approached her from behind, yet it didn't go unnoticed by her.

"funny that I've never really seen the beauty of this city." aeri let out sarcastic chuckles. "we're so consumed by work and works. at one point I forget how scenic seoul is."

"actually, i'm quite a homebody myself." he admitted. "i might not know many places, perhaps i can still take you around if you wish to."

aeri immediately turned to him with huge excitement on her face.

they've stopped at many locations but ended up leaving before entering. the crowd somehow scared them. both enjoyed peaceful moments rather than being consumed by wild crowd.

the night was getting older, so they decided to do a road trip instead. not somewhere far, but just around the city.

he brought snacks and drinks enough for two.

they blasted music, sang (shouted) along, chips spreading everywhere, but jeno did not care. at least, the person next to him enjoyed.

at last, they stopped at the entranced to N-seoul tower.

it was very late already, but that didn't stop them from getting caught.

to their luck, there was less visitor, and they managed to rent the cable car just the two of them.

aeri went completely silent as she let herself drowned in the view of the whole city underneath.

jeno was concentrating on taking a video, moving around until his target accidentally landed on her.

he secretly took some pictures before shoving his phone back to the pocket, and enjoyed the moment instead.

the whole ride was silent until they arrived.

the staff helped them off, as they were instructed to come back after 30 mins since it's already late.

"don't take that to mind." jeno whispered as they climbed up the remaining stairs. "if we can't get here in 30 mins, we can still take the walking path down."

"but isn't it scary? it's already late, jen."

"why would you care? i'm here with you... unless I leave you alone-" he received a punch on his upper arm. "I'd love to see you dare!" then quickly paced herself. "quick, quick. time's ticking."

he rolled his eyes, but the smile got wider as he followed her cute steps.

"woah." aeri was impressed at the couple, wish locks which are very famous here. "never thought it could be this many." she slowly went through some of them, and giggled at the silliness.

"seriously? people really believe in this?" she murmured.

"well, if you really believe, it may come true." he answered. "do you want to create one?" to which she sarcastically laughed. "with who? you? nah, pass."
