As promised, one several chapters to focus on the Lady of Larks and Geralt of Rivia following their escape from Westeros.

Mentions of stillbirth, and some body horror.

"Geralt...I think there is something wrong with this baby," you say as the familiar pains of labor started to come and go.

Eyes wide with concern and fear, Geralt turned to Yennefer, "What do we do?" "I, uh..." Yennefer wasn't sure what to do in this situation. It was way too early in your pregnancy to be going into labor, that much was clear, and Yen had already exhausted much of her own reserves to even so much as sustain a spell to ease the pains.

"Wait, baby?" Jaskier frowns which was followed by shock, "you're pregnant again, (y/n), why didn't you say anything before?!" "I," you struggle, "I didn't want you to worry, I- owww, it hurts."

You continue struggle with the cramps and pains, and start to move about to try and make it a little more bearable.
This was much worse then before, apart from the obvious reason that you shouldn't have gone into labor this soon, you were still reeling from the pain of having just lost your living daughter when that monster of a prince broke Yen's spell and yanked Aemma from your arms right as you ran into the portal.

Tears spilled from your eyes from reliving what had happened not even more then half an hour ago.
"(y/n)?" Geralt places a comforting hand on your hand. "He...he took her away from me," you sob out, "Aemma...my Aemma. She's gone and I can't get her back again I-" Another contraction hit you, causing you to clutch your abdomen in pain.

"Oh gods, oh gods," Jaskier starts to pace back and forth, "what do we do? What do we do?! What do we do?!"
"Jaskier!" Geralt scolds, "you're not helping."

"Geralt...I'm scared..." you whimper.

"It's going to be alright," the witcher assures. "What do we do?" "We first need to determine where on the Continent we are," Geralt states, "Yen?" "I wish I knew," Yennefer answers, reaching into her little sack, hoping to find herbs that might help your predicament, "as I've said, magic works differently between here and Westeros, I had intended for us to arrive at my old residence in Vengerberg...but I am not familiar with our surroundings at this moment."

"Don't worry, I'll go and find out where we are then," Jaskier runs off to see if there any landmarks he might recognize.
"Jaskier!" Geralt calls out, knowing how foolish it was to run off without first taking in the surroundings.
"Go after him, I'll stay with (y/n)," Yennefer assures, taking you by the arm.

You pant and try to take deep breaths in between, "oh gods, oh gods," you say. "Just try and relax," Yennefer tries to comfort you, "let's uh, let's try and take a seat, uh over," she tries and leads you to this tree. "No, Yen, I don't want to sit right now, it hurts too much," you shake your head. "Alright, let's just move around then," the mage nods, "come on, let's walk in small circles."

As you do so, the recent memories of having Aemma snatched out of your arms came back and you sniffle as more fresh tears come back, "Oh, Yen...my daughter...she...I left her back there. We have to go back." "Not in this condition right now," Yennefer says, "We will, just not in the state you are currently in." "Oh, Yen," you sniffle a little more as you continue your lament, "How could I have let this happen? I was so ready to get out of that awful place and...I let my guard down." "It wasn't your fault," Yennefer tries to assure, "you couldn't have known...I couldn't have known that man would somehow break my spell."

"We have to go back," you insist, trying to ignore the cramps that came and went, "I can't leave my daughter in the hands of th-that...monster. I...can't let him start feeding her lies...the same lies he's been telling the court the last three years. The same...the same lies that have kept me prisoner on that island, on Dragonstone. I...I can't let her forget me...I can't let her forget Geralt."
