"It's you, Deku."

Izuku froze hearing the name he never thought he'd hear again. His heart dropped into the pit of his stomach. He slowly removed his hand from his arm as he shook his head. "I don't know who you're talking about..."

"Cut the shit, Deku. I know it's you." Katsuki said and sighed softly.

Tears began to form in Izuku's eyes thinking Katsuki was gonna hurt him. "I tried so—so hard to get rid of that past... I'm finally somebody, and—and that name—god, that name!" Izuku backed away as he shook his head. He was about to have a panic attack before a hand was placed on his shoulder.

"Dek—tch... Izuku, look at me... please..." Green eyes slowly met red. "I'm not gonna hurt you, okay? I promise. I just didn't recognize you because you used to be so—"

"Useless." Izuku whispered the last word as he broke eye contact to look back down. "How do you know about that name?"

"Because... I'm the one who made it up." Katsuki admitted. "Deku, I haven't changed one bit. Sure, I've gotten taller and my voice has gotten deeper, but god damn, I know I'm recognizable."

"I told you I cut ties with my past... and that included the people who hurt me... you don't understand how bad it was, do you... my mother was constantly holding me, begging me not to kill myself! I was on the verge of it and then I—I..." the greenette broke into sobs as he collapsed into Katsuki's arms not even meaning to.

Katsuki felt his heart flutter at the sight, but seeing Izuku cry made his stomach twist. This is a feeling the blonde has never had before. "Your head is fuzzy, Deku... let me take you home... please..."

"Don't—don't call me that..." Izuku hiccuped into Katsuki's chest. Izuku nearly passed out from crying so much, the blonde had to pick him up. Katsuki looked at the smaller male in his arms and frowned lightly. He felt terrible for treating Izuku so badly, but he couldn't just apologize. Words don't mean anything.

Katsuki drove around for a little bit not knowing where Izuku lived. "Damn it, Deku. Wake up." Katsuki growled and looked at the sleeping boy. "Fuck." He whispered softly then made an impulsive decision. He drove to his own house and parked his car.

Before the blonde did anything else, he took Izuku's phone out of his bag and opened it. No passcode. He was at least thankful for that. He went to the contact that said 'Mom 💚' and clicked on it.

Izuku 💚

Hi, I know this is weird, but my name is Katsuki Bakugou. Your son was walking home and he nearly passed out, so I picked him up and brought him back to my house. If you give me your address, I'll bring him back safely.

That didn't seem too threatening, right? From anyone's perspective, it would look like a kidnapping. Luckily, it wasn't. Suddenly he heard the phone go off and quickly checked it.

Mom 💚
Oh, thank goodness! I haven't heard from him in hours, I was starting to get worried! You can bring him back home in the morning, he's probably exhausted.

Katsuki took that message as a good sign and sighed in relief. He put the phone back and walked to the passenger side. He opened up the door and effortlessly picked up Izuku. He carried him inside and laid him down on the couch.

The blonde started to think about when the last time Izuku ate was. He walked into the kitchen and started to make the volleyball player Katsudon. He remembered seeing Izuku eat it in the bathroom almost on a daily basis. He assumed that it was his favorite. To be honest, Katsuki never thought he would see Izuku after elementary school.
