Christen and I soon became inseparable. Whenever someone looked for me, I was just hanging out with her, and the same the other way around. We felt comfortable with each other, and we felt like we could talk about anything, from football to our own lives; although there was something we hadn't discussed yet, regarding the way we looked at each other from time to time.

"I got you a latte!" she yelled, closing the hotel door with her foot, trying to not lose her balance as she approached me with the two cups in her hand.
"Yay! Thanks."

I got up and reached out for the cup, while she sat down on the edge of my bed, texting her family.

"You ready for the game Saturday?" she asked, without looking up from the screen.
"Yep. Jill is finally putting me in as a stater, and hopefully you'll get subbed in after. You're really good, and the chemistry you have with the other girls is just unreal."
"I hope so... I've worked my butt off for weeks" she sighs, finally looking up at me.

She put her phone down and started telling me about some rather interesting love stories going on in the team; I didn't love gossiping – only because it was the reason almost everyone knew I had had a special feeling for Alex – but for her I made an exception. I also knew that she was quite worried about some family emergency back in Los Angeles, and talking about some else was really taking her mind off of everything going on in her hometown.

As the discussion was getting deeper and I was getting intrigued, someone knocked on the door.

"Who is it?" Christen shouts, getting closer to the sound.
"Kelley!"

Christen opened the door and saw Kelley and Alex standing outside, with weird, cryptic smiles on their faces.

"Tonight. Our room. Nine o'clock" Alex said, before running away.
"Uhm... alright..." Chris awkwardly said, closing the door.
"That was weird" I whispered.
"Yeah... but we should go, right?"
"Why not. I mean, what could go wrong?" I nod.

She gets back beside me and we start reading a book in silence.

At nine, Christen and I were the last ones to enter Alex's and Kelley's room. Christen and Alex had switched so that we could sleep together, which was not such a subtle move, even though the only reason we had done it was because I found being that close with Alex a little weird.

Allie, Julie and Meghan were either sitting on the floor or lying on the bed, with vodka and tequila on the nightstands; immediately I regretted ever stepping in there, but couldn't find a reasonable way to get myself out of the situation.

"Now that we're all here, let the games begin!"

Chris and I found ourselves in a truth or drink, and pretty soon, Allie, Kelley and Alex were tipsy, while Meghan was just trying to control the girls and make sure that things wouldn't get out of hands.

"Okay, Tobin" Allie smiled deviously, not actually knowing what she was asking. "We all know about the rumors, so... Did you ever have a crush on Alex?"
"Uhm..."

Shit. Even if I hadn't answered, the answer would have still been obvious.

"Gimme one shot of vodka."

Julie handed me a little glass, and I just drank it in one fast motion.

"Oh well..."
"Wait, did you actually?" Meghan asked me, surprised.
"Let's just keep going. My turn. Christen... have you ever made out with a girl?"
"Darn it!" she exclaimed, looking up. "What do you mean made out?"
"Had sex."
"I will not be answering that."

She took a shot of tequila and we all moved on.
