In a world where heroes and villains are pitted against each other.....How will anyone be able to deal with someone of unimaginable power who sides with "fun"?
"Damn it. Died." Y/N cursed as he died while playing Flappy Bird. His first day at U.A. Academy had already come to an end with him earning the top spot in the Quirk Assessment.
He wasn't that interested in it the beginning, but as soon as Aizawa turned it into a competition between the students, Y/N had to try a bit harder. His number one spot was guaranteed the moment that happened. Though, he did take note of some potentially strong opponents.
First is Bakugo Katsuki. A guy that embodies his quirk down to the core. At first, you would think that he's just a meathead that only uses his given ability in the most basic manner. You couldn't be farther from the truth. If anything, he's actually smarter than the most of the other students in class 1-A. His creativity only adds to his potential. Y/N was a bit envious of that creativity. He'd been told multiple times during his time playing soccer years ago that he lacked that aspect.
Moving on, the second to earn his attention was Shouto Todoroki. The son of the #2 Hero, Endeavour , with the quirk Half-Cold Half-Hot. A strange name, yet that's all it was. It allowed him to generate ice, frost, and cold from the right side of their body, and fire, flames, and heat from the left. The only problem at the moment is his own problems. Not once during the assessment did he try and use his fire side. Most would think it had something to do with his father, however Y/N wasn't most people.
The only reason he got into this hero business was because his parents urged him to. Before they did that, he hadn't the slightest care for heroes. Which is why he wasn't that informed on the current standing of positions of popular ones. The name "All Might" did ring a few bells when mentioned, that being because no knew how to shut up about him.
As for the third person, his opinion may not be as shared as the last two, it is Momo Yaoyorozu. She can create theoretically anything she wants given she has enough fat to spend. If Y/N could see how she operates under pressure or in battle, his ranking for her might increase or decrease. Plus, her IQ is the second highest in Class 1-A following right after Y/N. Trust that he had no intentions of making that much effort in school. Once his parents asked him to do so, there was no other choice then to be the best at that as well.
The last and final person to get some attention is in fact Izuku Midoriya. It's easy to figure out why he is the last on the list. He apparently just, and I mean just, learned how to use his quirk without hurting himself. He didn't give it a name, but he did say it was a physical enhancement type. A lie by Y/N's belief. Not from the explanation, instead from his body language while explaining. One that basically said, "Please don't pry. Please don't pry."
Sole reason why Y/N didn't question it. It really didn't matter anyways. His quirk is his business after all. That being said, he learned how to do it while under extreme pressure. Along with the look he had before doing so. A small inkling of excitement hit Y/N during the event. He is the last on the list, however, that doesn't mean he can't move to the top in time.
Walking up the steps to his apartment, Y/N took out the keys to put in the keyhole. It would never go in as the door quickly unlocked itself and swung open to reveal.....
