NADIA FRANCIZEK POV

It has been two days since my encounter with Shawn, and getting back home I was stuck with questions from Skylar. What was she expecting would happen? There is no way I am going to have a one-night stand with him.

I rub my eyes tiredly as the last customer leaves, I feel so tired and I just watch as Francesca cleans the table. I stand up sluggishly and go into the kitchen and saw Strojek washing the dishes.

I frowned with my arms crossed. "When did you get in?"

"I took the backdoor."

"How much do you need?"

He rolls his eyes. "I don't need money, sis, I need your permission to let me have a job."

"No. Your classes begin soon, I don't want you to slack on your studies. I will provide for you anything you need, all you have to do is ask."

"I am more than capable of working, I am not a child anymore, Nadia. You need to stop seeing me as that little boy who was just six when dad passed away, you need to let me have my way for once!"

I lean my back on the wall. "I am older with twelve years; twelve years is no joke. So no, mister, I can't let you have your way."

He pouts. "Just let me have my way with this, okay? Please, Nads."

"No. If you insist on helping, then help me look for two cooks who would help me in the kitchen."

He wipes his hands with a cloth. "Look for them yourself!!"

I chuckled, watching him leave,I sighed before going over to where he stood a few seconds ago and decided to do the dishes.

"Are you searching for a cook?"

I turned around, and my breath seized, seeing who it was; how did he come into the kitchen? No one is allowed except staff and those close to me. I back away from him, but he just smirks and walks over to me, and he lifts my chin up.

"W-who let you in?"

"Francesca let me come in."

I tried to pull myself from him, but he tightens his grip around my waist, tears well up in my eyes as he moves his face closer to mine.

"Were you avoiding me?"

"L-let me go," I stuttered, trying hard to push him away.

He smirks. "Sweetie, how can I let you go? I can't stop thinking about you; you are addictive, baby girl."

"Francesca!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.

She soon dashes into the room, but the monster was already gone. One thing I will forever regret is agreeing to go on a date with him.

"Ma, are you okay?" She asked, worried.

I wipe my tears away. "Why did you let him in?"

"He said he is your boyfriend and wanted to give you a surprise. I am sorry, ma,I shouldn't have let him in."

I sighed. "It's okay, Francesca, you didn't know. But don't ever let him in again, ask for my permission first before you let someone else in, except my family and employees."

"Okay, ma."

"Go home, Francesca; I will close up."

She shakes her head. "You are still shaken up; I can't leave you alone."

"I am fine; go ahead."

She nodded. "Okay, ma; have a nice day."

I forced a smile as she walks out of the kitchen, and I rub my temple tiredly as I continue washing the dishes. I clean up the restaurant before taking a seat in my office, grab my purse, and shuffle around for the calling card. I find it and dial his number on the phone. It rings twice before he finally picks up.
