I just put on a new top that Neteyam made me from when we were still in the forest. I've never worn it before but I think it looks really good?
I don't know why I've dressed up so much like it's just a hangout. Right?
"Y/n there's a boy here for you" I hear Jake shout I immediately get up and go to the door scared about leaving Zueki alone with Jake sometimes Jake can get a bit scary.
"Hey" Zueki says as he waves a bit, Jake is looking him up and down so I speak up. "Um we're gonna go now" i say half shoving Zueki out of the door way.
"Alright don't have to much fun" Jake says winking at me. Omg thats so embarrassing. "I'm so sorry about that" I say "Nah it's fine" Zueki answers.
It's quiet until Zueki speaks up "I like your top, it suits you" he says and we lock eyes for like the 100th time today but I will never get over his pretty dark chocolate brown eyes.
"Thanks" I respond not sure of what to say
"Not gonna compliment me back" he says jokingly "uh you have pretty eyes" I respond he smirks "thanks"

On the rock "You and Neteyam aren't dating right?" Zueki asks looking down at the rock "What no, no, we're just friends" I respond kind of surprised he'd ask that "Alright, it's just he looked really mad when we were talking before at the beach" he says "oh yeah he's just really protective, I guess" I responded also confused why Neteyam was so upset.
"if you don't mind me asking, why do you live with the sullys?" He asks "Oh um, when I was little my family was in an accident and I was the only survivor, the sullys were our family friends so when my family passed they took me in as one of their own." I respond trying not to cry "Oh I had no idea, I'm so sorry for you loss" he says wrapping his arms around me knowing I was about to start crying
"It's fine there's no way you could've known" i sniffle. We stand here for a few minutes his hand brushing through my hair.
We start talking again and just have little conversation about stuff around the island and what I used to do back in the forest. "Have you ever had a boyfriend?" He asks out of nowhere.
"Um nah, have you?" I ask. He definitely has. What girl couldn't like him?
"Stop joking you definitely have" he responds with a chuckle "No I really haven't" I laugh "People in the forest must be blind then" he says "and yeah I've had a girlfriend before but things didn't end well" he says "what happened?" "Uh she cheated on me with Ao'nung" he says sounding kind of disappointed. I already hate Ao'nung but now I dislike him even more he's such a dick! "I'm sorry" I say "no it's fine she didn't deserve me anyway" he jokes
"Yeah because no one could ever deserve the almighty Zueki" I say chuckling
"Unless their name is y/n" he says not sounding like he was joking anymore. But we both laugh anyway.

Back at the hut "How did your date go" Lo'ak teases poking my shoulder. "Shut up, it wasn't a date and we all know you have a big fat crush on tsireya" i tease back "No I don't we jus-" Lo'ak is cut off as Neteyam comes into the room "Shut up Lo'ak and stop lying" he say's pushing Lo'ak out of my room
"But how was your date" Neteyam whisper's sitting down next to me "Omg!! It wasn't a date" I groan laying back on my bed "Sure it wasn't" he replies with a chuckle "what did you talk about" he asks laying back next to me. I turn to him our faces only inches apart "none of your business" i whisper.
