"But how was your date" Neteyam whisper's sitting down next to me "Omg!! It wasn't a date" I groan laying back on my bed "Sure it wasn't" he replies with a chuckle "what did you talk about" he asks laying back next to me. I turn to him our faces only inches apart "none of your business" i whisper.

The next day I woke up early this morning at the sound of waves crashing out in the ocean. I decided to go for a walk on the beach to waste time, it shouldn't be long till lessons anyway. I sneak out of the hut trying not to wake anyone and I make my way down to the sand. The sun is still rising, it's so beautiful.
"What are you doing princess" I turn around it's Neteyam.
"Are you following me, you creep" I joke "Nah, why are you up so early, if I tried to wake you up this early you would slit my throat open" he chuckles "Maybe I should" I say turning back away from him. He laughs and comes to stand next to me.
"Do you like it here?" I ask looking up from the water "Yeah, it's nice i guess but it's not like home" he responds "Yeah, I just feel like I don't fit in" I sigh "Don't say that y/n" he says holding my hand "Plus I think you did better than all of us yesterday in the swimming" he laughs I laugh too.
"Hey lovebirds lessons are starting!" Ao'nung shouts his with his friends and Zueki. Did Zueki see us holding hands? He already thought we were in a relationship.
"We better get going" Neteyam whispers to me walking over to the group and I follow behind him dropping his hand, he turns and looks kind of disappointed.

"Today we will find you an ilu" tsireya says excited. Neteyam looks to me grinning and I smile back
"We should get started, it may take a while to learn to ride them" Zueki says Everyone agrees and we go to the water. "Everyone get into your groups from yesterday" tsireya says, I walk to Zueki and he waves. We walk out further into the water. Zueki tells me about the ilus and I find one and make a bond with it.
"What are you going to name it?" Zueki asks "I think I'm going to name her after my little sister" I say stroking her head "What was your little sisters name?" He asks "(Your Choice)" I respond smiling "It's beautiful" he says placing a hand on my shoulder. "Thanks" I say with a smile.
"Do you wanna go for ride?" He asks signaling for his ilu "Sure why not" I respond and we hop on our ilus.
—.—.—.— About 1 hour later "Bye" I say to Zueki as I walk away from him back to the sandbank "Bye hopefully I'll see you later"he says "Yeah hopefully" I wave to him as he rides off.
Neteyam walks up to me "Ooh someone has a crush y/n" he mocks Zuekis voice, horribly "Shut up" I groan "Nah it's fine, I know your pretty heart will only ever be filled with love for me" Neteyam jokes putting his hands over his heart. We laugh together.
"Oh! y/n follow me there's this place I want to show you that I found the other day" he says grabbing my hand and pulling me with him.
