"I'm so sorry y/n" he says going in for a hug but I stand up I just want to get out of here. I walk out of the cave and I soon as he can't see me any more I start running. I regret telling him so much I wish I could've kept my fat mouth shut. I tried so hard to forget that night. But now remembering it again makes me want to throw up. I run down towards a lake and stop when I see Zueki, I hide behind a tree I don't want him to see me cry...

I place my head between my knees and keep sobbing. I feel a hand on my shoulder. I already know it's Zueki.
"Y/n, what's wrong?" He asks sitting down next to me. I lift my head from my knees and Zueki pulls me in for a one arm hug, I rest my head on his chest "Nothing, just something that happened back in the forest" I say and he understands I don't want to talk about it.
"Ok well, there's a campfire tomorrow night, you can come if you want, it's just going to be me, Ao'nung, tsireya, Lo'ak maybe and hopefully you. If you like you can ask Neteyam and Kiri if they wanna come as well" I just nod and place my hand on his stomach snuggling up closer with him. I close my eyes and go to sleep at the feeling of my head rising and falling as he breathes.

The next day I wake up and get startled when I realise where I am my head is on Zueki chest I think he's still asleep. I get up and go back to the hut.
I sneak into the hut making sure no one realises I was gone, everyone is still asleep. I walk into my room to see Neteyam on my bed he is throwing a ball up and down to himself and catching it with one hand as his other lays behind his head.
I lay down next to him "Zueki told me that there is going to be a campfire tonig-" I'm cut off by Neteyam "When were you talking to Zueki"he asks turning his face to me. "When I left last night I saw him" I respond "And you were with him all night, you guys didn't like-" I cut him off "Ew no why the fuck would you say that?!" I say with an disgust look on my face. I mean Zueki isn't that bad but I definitely wouldn't have sex with him after just kissing Neteyam who is literally the person I've had a crush on like my whole life.
Neteyam chuckles "Alright well go on with what you were saying before" he says "There is a campfire tonight and I want to know if you'll come with me, I still need to ask kiri if she'll come as well" I ask "Yeah I'll be there" he responds.
Neteyams pov:: Of course I'm going I'm not leaving y/n with that Zueki cunt, he will probably try to make out with her and flirt with her the whole time. I already failed to protect her, I'm not letting her out of my sight tonight.
