Neteyam furrows his eyebrows as I feel a hand on my chest, I turn to see Zuekis face close to mine "Just breathe slowly and your heart will slow with it he whispers in my ear. I try to calm the crazy butterflies in my stomach as I breathe. "Good, your doing really well" he says with a smile.

About 5 minutes later "Can we go to the water now" Neteyam says, he sounds irritated? "You alright?" I ask confused about why he would sound so annoyed. "Yeah I'm fine" he replies standing up. I stand up as well
"Sure" tsireya answers and leads us to the water. I hear Aonung whisper something to Roxto and Zueki, Roxto laughs but Zueki just shakes his head and stays quiet.

"Alright everyone pair up again and we'll go for a swim" Tsireya says walking to Lo'ak, of course..
Neteyam rolls his eyes at something behind me and I turn to see Zueki walking towards me "partners?" He asks "ye- yeah sure" I stutter. Why the fuck am I stuttering? "Ok, follow me" he answers grabbing my hand to drag me behind him.
We're in the water about waist deep and I can see fish swimming around me and Zueki. "Have you ever swam before?" He asks looking up from the water and our eyes meet making those stupid ass butterflies come back. "Yeah I came for a swim last night with Tuk and Neteyam" I answer with a smile "Oh so you already know how to swim" he says coming closer "Um yeah kind of I guess" i fucking stuttered again, are you kidding me?! "Well I guess this won't take as long as I wanted it to then" he smirks brushing a bit of my hair behind my ear that had fallen out of place. "Uh yeah" this man is making me fold already...
He dives under the water and I see him signal for me to join him so I go in after him.
Neteyams pov: What is y/n doing over there flirting with that idiot while I'm stuck here with Ao'nung who keeps yelling at me for literally having like a single finger out of place.
I should be the one flirting with her not any other freak.
I love how I can give her butterflies so easily, but I've never heard her stutter the way she was around that Zueki freak. She's only known him for not even a day and she's already flirting with him.
I don't give a fuck if y/n and I aren't in a relationship, doesn't this dumb cunt understand that y/n is mine and mine only.
Plus she's had a massive crush on me for years and this guy could never compete with that many years of trust, friendship and love.
Y/n pov: I point to the top of the water to signal for air, he nods and we swim up until our heads are back up above the water.
"You're doing so well" Zueki says with a grin "thanks" I respond and chuckle a little shyly.
He places his hand on the back of his neck and looks down at the water "d-do you want to go to the big rock tonight?"he says keeping his gaze on the water. "Yeah that would be nice" I respond trying no to smile like a dork "Great, I'll pick you up from your hut at around eight?" He answers looking back up at me "Alright sounds go-" I'm cut off by Neteyam
"Y/n lunchtime" he shouts, I didn't even notice that everyone else had already finished up and it was just Zueki and I.
We both say bye and I leave for the hut.

"What's up with you and that Zueki kid" Neteyam says as we walk back to the hut "what, are you jealous" I joke "Maybe" Neteyam answers but he didn't really sound like he was joking
"Nothing, we're just going to go hangout at the rock tonigh-" Neteyam cuts me off again "like a date?" He sounds disappointed. "I wouldn't call it a date we're just going to hangout" I respond
"Just don't do anything you'll regret, remember we only got here yesterday" he says "I won't" I respond and it's quiet the rest of the way home.
