I am so done with this bull shit. I am better off dead out there, than tormented in here. Maybe I can even find a way back to my own world. Back to were I belong.
There I was in my room preparing my self to run away. This seemed like the longest night of my life, and Elinor hasn't even been in here to help me. I wondered over to the closet, and grabbed some black jeans, a black tank top, and a black hoodie to put on. I then grabbed some fresh socks to put on, along with some black boots we bought at a shop today. Finally I grabbed a leather jacket and put it on. I pulled the hood over my head and left my room. Now how do I get out of this heavily guarded place without getting caught? Grayson is probably watching me some how considering he is able to tell everything I am doing. I aimless roamed trying to find an easy exit. Once again no one was paying attention to me. Not even the guards.
I managed to find a side exit, leading to a few carriages. One carriage that was about to leave had absolutely no one in it, so I jumped in without the driver noticing. I was planning to jump out when we got to the village. I got frightened when the carriage door opened and a person jumped in. They sat across from me not realizing I was in there until the looked up at me.
"Wha..." I cupped my hand over Shawn's mouth, until I thought he wouldn't speak. He looked my up and down and furrowed his eyebrows. "Let's go!" He shouted to the driver off the carriage. The carriage started to move. Shortly I saw the castle in the distance. Once we were surrounded by forest Shawn started a conversation.
"May I ask what you are doing in my carriage?" Shawn looked at me with confusion written all over his face.
"I'm running away. Or at least trying to." I flipped my hair over to the other side.
"May I ask what you were going to do? How you were even going to survive with all those dangerous creatures out there." Shawn had a point.
"I don't know and I don't care. I'm better off dead than in this world." I looked out the window and blinked away the few tears formimg. "If you want to bring me back then screw you."
"Hunter..." he sighed.
"No don't. Just stop the carriage and let me out." I slide closer to the door, about to open the very fast moving carriage. But Shawn put his hand on mine indicating me to stop.
"You don't have to get out." Shawn released my hand. "My brother is probably going to hate me for this, but you can stay with me."
I settled back into my seat pondering the thought. Shawn is so much kinder than Grayson. He won't play with my emotions just for the hell of it. He'll take care of me, right?
"Alright." I said and earned a genuine smile from Shawn. I hope I'm making the right chose.
Grayson's P.O.V
"What do you mean you lost her?!" I yelled at my man I have follow Hunter around.
"I told you, Sir. She was in her room, and I thought she was just going on a short walk. But instead she entered a carriage." he coward in front of me. Honestly I wanted to rip his head.
"I gave you the easiest task ever." I was extremely annoyed at this point. "What Carriage was it?"
"I believe it belonged to your guest sir."
"My brother." I stepped forward to the gaurd and looked deep into his eyes, intimidating him. "You are going to take a group of my men and get ready to leave, on my command."
"Yes,Sir." He stepped back creating distance.
"Great. Now get out before I rip your head off." I cocked my head to the side, displaying a devilish smirk. Come on Hunter, he's not who he says he is.
Hunter's P.O.V
Shawn's place was very similar to Grayson's. I guess that made sense considering they were brothers and all. I was still confused. I didn't understand why Grayson and Shawn didn't like each other very much, and why Grayson told me to stay away from Shawn. Really, I just wanted to take a hot shower, and then sleep. Shawn and I were walking up stairs to the second floor, apparently that's where all his guest rooms were.
"Here it is." Shawn stopped at the the second door on the right. He opened the door and walking in, obviously I followed. It was a nice cozy place. It was much like Grayson's. The wood furniture and all. "Do you like it?"
"Yeah its great." I smiled at Shawn. "Thanks for not turning me into Lord Grayson."
"No problem." Shawn walked closer to me and held my face in his hand. He slowly started to lean in, our lips touched softly, and I was already in a daze. The kiss deepened, suddenly I felt an excruciating pain in my torso. I backed out of the kiss, seeing Shawn holding a bloody knife. I looked at my stomach,my shirt was soaked in blood. I fell to my knees, and then on my side. Laying there on the floor I began to drift. The last thing I heard was Shawn speak, and then darkness filled my vision.
"Sorry. Nothing Personal."
