Chapter 8 - A Normal Weekend Or Is It?

(Y/N)'s POV

2 months has passed since my romantic date with Hiro and my christmas vacation which is finally over and it's already a new year. I celebrated Christmas day with my family and I invited one of my friends especially Hiro so all of us can have a christmas party. Then, in new years eve, I visited Lucky Cat Cafe to celebrate new years there and it was fantastic. I watched the fireworks with Hiro outside the cafe and we kissed passionately under the bright night sky. It was fun and I never felt so happy in my life. Now I'm back to school once again and there's going to be lots of stuff do at school. Anyhow, It's another weekend and I just some experimenting yesterday with Honey and Hiro. I got up from my bed and afterwards, I stretched my arms up in the air. I yawned softly and suddenly I spot a picture frame on my night stand. I got closer and it's a picture of me and Hiro when we went on a date together which was 2 months ago. I smiled and grabbed the picture from the night stand. I hugged it close to me and thought, 'Hiro. I wonder what you are doing right now. I feel like I wanna see you again'. I placed the frame in the night stand and went outside my bedroom. When I got out, I saw my dad going outside the bedroom as well and he is wearing a suit. I smiled and said, "Mornin' dad! Going to work today?". My dad noticed me and gave me a hug. "Yeah but it's something different, I have a party at work and it's the anniversary of the company", he said and patted my head gently. He let go and said, "You mean you're leaving right now? Okay, but what about breakfast?". "Don't worry I just finished eating breakfast like an hour ago, (Y/N)", he said and checked his watch. I nodded and my dad said, "Well, looks like I have to go. I better get going. See you, (Y/N)". My dad gave me one last hug and head downstairs. I waved goodbye and said, "Bye dad". I saw my dad kissing my mom and it was pretty sweet then he went outside the house. I sighed and went downstairs so I can eat my scrumptious breakfast with my mom.

*TIME SKIP*

Hours has passed and I just went outside so I have some fresh air once in a while. I breath in and out then the sun is shining in the sky. I started skipped happily with a smile but suddenly someone called me and it sounded familiar. I turned to see my good friend, Aiza and she's waving at me. I smiled and ran towards her in a flash. "Hey Aiza! How's it going?", I said and gave her a friendly hug. She giggled and said, "I'm fine. So, how's was your date the other day? Was it romantic and fun?". I smiled and replied, "Of course! We went to a beautiful spot in the park and guess what, it was near a cherry blossom tree! Although after our date, all the petals fall and it was beautiful. Maybe it's because it's winter. Hehe". Aiza's eyes sparkled and said, "Wow! That sounds really romantic and now that I think about. Me and Jeremy went to a date as well and it was fantastic! We went to the movies together and we watch a romance/comedy movie. Both of us were laughing so hard and giggling in the theater and it was worth it. Hehehe". I giggled and said, "Great! So, anyways what are you doing here in the park?". She tapped her foot lightly and answered, "I was about to head to the grocery store but before I go there I need a walk in the park then I ran into you unexpectedly. Hehe". I nodded and looked at the environment. Aiza patted my shoulder and said, "Well, I better get going. I guess I'm done. I have to shop for groceries at the store. Bye (Y/N)-chan!". She gave me a quick hug and left.

I smiled and was about to head somewhere but suddenly I heard some people screaming in the radio. I looked over the radio which was beside the tree and I decided to listen what was going on. "This is channel 2 news and we broadcasting live here at Hashimoto Tech and the company is under attack by robots that are controlled by a bunch of bandits. It looks like they are stealing some tech inside the building..oh wait hold on....", the female reporter said but stopped for a moment and I heard crushing sounds. Hashimoto Tech is one of the most popular and excellent Tech companies in San Fransokyo and that's where my dad is working at right now. Anyhow, I'm listening very carefully and a bunch of people came by to listen as well. "But that's not all...they are even kidnapping some inventors along with their precious inventions", the reporter exclaimed and there were a bunch of screams. My eyes widened and I thought, 'Inventors? Wait a minute...Dad...his in that building..I gotta find him before he gets hurt or worse. The company is around here I think...wait no I guess I need go there by transportation'. The people around me looked scared and worried and it's making me feel worried as well. I ran away and looked for a transportation. I looked for a while and suddenly I found one and I ran towards it then I rode in it.

I finally arrived at Hashimoto Tech and everyone in the company are running away. I looked at the building and began to come closer. The building was tall but some of the parts of the building is destroyed. I looked up to see giant robots stealing some tech just like the reporter said in the radio. I gasped and saw some inventors being kidnapped. "Where's dad? Is he alright? Please", I said and avoided the debris. On my way, there were a bunch of people on the way and suddenly bumped into a man. "Oh gosh, sorry!!", I said and looked the man I bumped into. I was silent and the man said, "It's alright...wait hold on a moment". I tilt my head from the side and he said, "By any chance, are you (L/N)'s daughter?". 'I recognize this guy', I thought and felt amazed. That's the head of the Hashimoto Tech, Kenji Hashimoto himself and he is right in front of me. I realized what I was doing and shook my head lightly. 'Now is not the time to feel lucky, (Y/N). Your in a serious situation right now', I thought and lightly slapped my face. I coughed softly and said, "Yes, I'm (L/N)'s daughter. (Y/N)(L/N)! Right now-". I was cut off when Mr. Hashimoto said, "What are you doing here? It's dangerous for a delicate girl as precious as yourself!". He sounded a bit of a gentleman for a second there but I build up confidence and said, "I came here to find my father do you where he is, Hashimoto-san?". He gave me concerned look on his face and said, "I don't know, (Y/N). There are so many people, guests and inventors coming outside the building and I don't see him. Man, looks like our anniversary for the company is ruined". I looked at building and decided to ran off inside. Hashimoto gasped and said, "(Y/N)!! What are you-". His voice was fading as soon as I approach the building and there were a lot of people passing by. 'Come on dad! Please be alright! I'm coming to find you and both of us will escape. Also, I hope Hiro and the rest of his friends will get here and take care of the bandits', I thought and started to search for my father.
