Chapter 5

(Roman's pov)

I walked into Gabriel's office and he shut the door behind me. "Gabe?" I said.

He crossed his arms and said, "Don't call me Gabe, now what?" I bit my lip and broke down crying. He looked at me in worry and hugged me. "Roman, what's wrong?"

"I don't want to be this black winged freak anymore! I wish I never killed myself!" I screamed. I started scratching my arms and he grabbed my wrists.

"Roman, stop. You're not a freak, just don't listen to them," he said.

"Can I. . .can I cut?" I said.

"There's no way I'm letting you do that. Let's just forget about this and start your lesson," he said. I sniffled and wiped my eyes.

"Okay," I said. He pulled out a notebook and started telling me everything I could do. One is where I can tell how someone died. I smiled when he was done, excited because today we get to hang out in town today.

"So you ready to go?" he said. I nodded and we flew down to the hotel. I saw Andy and them outside at the park across the street. I smiled a little and turned myself visible along with Gabriel.

"So, what are we going to do?" I said.

"I'll tell you after you check on Andy," he said. I nodded and walked over to them.

I walked over to Andy and they smiled at me. "Hey, guys," I said. They all waved and Andy had a nervous smile on his face. Huh, I wonder what he's so nervous about. I smiled at them and said, "I just came to check on Andy." They all smiled and had a knowing look on their faces. I tilted my head to the side and looked at Andy. He had a blush on his face. What's going on?

"Why did you want to check on Andy? You were just with him yesterday," Ashley said, trying to hold back a laugh. What the heck are they talking about?!

"Um, I'm Andy's guardian. I have to. Plus, Gabriel told me to," I said.

"Right. Now, Andy, why are you blushing?" Jinx said. I turned to Andy, who had a red cheeks and was glaring at the guys.

"I hate you guys," he hissed. I felt my anger rise. I still don't know what's going on!

"WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!" I yelled. They all smirked and got up and left, leaving Andy and me behind. I felt my jaw drop when CC turned around to look at Andy and made a heart with his fingers. What does that mean?

"Do you like someone?" I asked Andy. He blushed more and nodded. I smiled and said "Who?"

"Just this girl... it's no big deal." He said. Why do I feel sad all of a sudden? Could It Be because I feel bad that he thinks it's no big deal? Liking someone is a very big deal!

"Oh yes it is! Who is she?" I said. He smiled a little and said

"Ro-" I looked at him confused.

"Ro?"

"Her name is Rose! Just Rose..." He looked panicked... Either I'm stupid and missing something or he's insane. I nodded slowly.

"Right... well I gotta go... bye." I said. He nodded and I walked over to Gabriel who had an amused look on his face.

(Andy's pov)

*A couple hours earlier*

I was pacing back in forth in our hotel room. All I could think about was the feeling I got when I touched Roman's wings. They were so soft and beautiful... yet he hates them. I can understand why but I just don't understand how people could torment you so much that they make you hate something so beautiful. I sighed and ran a hand through my hair.

"Hey man, woah what's wrong?" CC said coming in with the rest of the guys. I stuttered out

"N-nothing! Why would something be wrong?" They all rolled their eyes and Ashley said

"Well we left you here with Roman yesterday and ever since then you've been acting pretty strange."

"Pfft, me act strange? I'm acting normal." I said. I laughed nervously and they all gave me a 'are you kidding me?' look.

"Dude, did Roman do something? Because we can just ditch him." CC said.

"What?! We can't do that!" I said quickly.

"Okay... if he didn't do anything bad, then what happened?" Jake said. I sighed and shrugged.

"I don't know, I just have a weird feeling when I'm near him." I said. Ashley smirked and said

"What kind of feeling?" What is he getting at?

"I can't describe it..." I said. "Why do you guys act like you know what I'm talking about?"

"Because, it's kind of obvious.... maybe not to you but it is to us." CC said. I blushed when I realized what they were saying.

"That's ridiculous! I'm not gay!" I said. They all laughed and I glared at them.

"Dude, you might not be gay but you're definitely crushing on Roman." Jinx said. I blushed harder and bit my lip.

"Okay... maybe I like him. What do I do?" I said. They all shrugged and my jaw dropped. "Are you kidding me?! I just told you a I liked a dude and you aren't even going to help me!" I yelled.

"Calm down, man. Just tell Roman how you feel." Jake said. I rolled my eyes and said

"He'd probably be freaked out, how do you even know he's gay?" Ashley scoffed and said

"He's definitely gay."

"How do you know?" Jake said.

"Because, have you seen the way he looks at Noah? Noah is usually shirtless for some reason and Roman practically drools over him." Ashley said. I nodded and felt a little jealous.

"So he likes Noah?" I whined.

"Maybe, maybe not. Just ask him!" CC encouraged. I smiled at how cool they were taking this.

"Thanks guys, you guys are the best friends ever." I said.

"No problem, now next time you see Roman talk to him!" Jinx said. I smiled and nodded and we all went out to dinner.
