Chapter 6

(Roman's pov)

I yawned and walked out of the movie theater. "That was the weirdest movie ever!" I said. Gabriel agreed and said

"I know." I stretched out my arms and I was about to turn invisible to go home when Gabriel stopped me. "Wait, I have a question." He said.

"Shoot." I said.

"What's going on with you and Andy?" I looked at him confused and he rolled him eyes. "Come on, don't tell me you're that oblivious."

"What?" I said. He rolled his eyes again and said

"Andy likes you!"

"Gabriel, that's not funny. You know I think he's hot but he's straight." I said.

"Do you realize that when you asked what her name was he almost said Roman?" I rolled my eyes and said

"Rose! Her name is Rose!" I said. He rolled his eyes and crossed his arms.

"That was just a cover up." He said.

"No it wasn't! He likes a girl named Rose!" I said.

"Ugh! You're hopeless!" He said.

"Why would he like me, huh? I'm just a ugly, dead, 19 year old boy with scars all over me. He is a sexy, god like human being who is super nice." I said. He rolled his eyes and said

"First, you're not ugly. Second, you're an amazing boy." I sighed and shook my head.

"Thanks but only you think so. Andy would never think that." I said. Gabriel sighed and said

"Whatever, I need to go. I'll see you later." He said and flew off. I flew off too and started thinking about all that Gabriel said.

(Gabriel's pov)

I flew off to the hotel Andy was staying at. I flew through the window and turned visible. Andy and them looked at me. "You, we need to talk." I said and pointed at Andy. Andy gulped and nodded.

"O-okay." He stuttered. I made him stutter? Am I really that intimidating? I rolled my eyes and he stood up.

"Why did you lie to Roman?" I asked. He looked at me in shock and the guys smirked.

"I didn't, what are you talking about?" He said.

"Are you really going to lie to an angel? I know that you like Roman." I said.

"Why would you think that?" He said, looking anywhere but my eyes. I put my hands on my hips and rolled my eyes.

"Because I can tell when people found their soul mate." I said. It's one of the powers that head angels have. Andy's eyes widened and he started choking.

"Soul mate?! It's just a little crush!" Andy said. I smirked and said

"It's kind of crazy, in all my years of being head angel, I never seen a human fall in love with his guardian." Andy looked at me as if I was crazy.

"I'm not in love! And he's not my soul mate." Andy said. CC put his hand on Andy's shoulder and said

"What's wrong with it if he is?"

"He's a man!" We all gave him a 'are you kidding me?' look and Andy sighed. "Okay... nothings wrong with it except he's dead!"

"So? He's still in his human body. You can still do anything a couple could do." I said. Andy ran a hand through his hair.

"But... he doesn't even like me." Andy said. I scoffed and said

"Yeah right, he thinks you don't like him because of his scars." Andy looked at me in shock.

"I-I... I don't know what to say." Andy said. I glared at him.

"You could say that you don't care about them." I said. Andy bit his lip and sighed.

"I could... but he's not even here right now." Andy said. I smirked and said

"I can call him down if you want." Andy's eyes widened and he shook his head no.

"Why not?" I asked.

"I just can't do that..." He said. I rolled my eyes and said

"Why not?"

"First, I can't do that in front of all of you. Second, I just don't want to make things weird between us." Andy said.

"We can leave." Jake said. I looked at Andy and he had a thoughtful look on his face.

"Fine..." He whispered.

"Great! I'll go get Roman." I said and turned invisible and flew out the window.

(Roman's pov)

"In the end! As we fade into the night, who will tell the story of your life!" I sang along to the music blasting out of the radio. I'm at Rain's house and he was singing with me. I came here to ask for advice but got kind of sidetracked. I laughed as the song ended and he turned the radio off. "So what are you really doing here? I know you didn't come here to sing karaoke all night." Rain said. I sighed and said

"I need your advice."

"On what?" He said.

"Should I tell Andy how I feel?" I said. He looked thoughtful and said

"Isn't Andy straight?"

"I think, I mean he likes a girl named Rose." He sighed and said

"How exactly do you feel about him?"

"I don't know... I think I have a crush on him."

"Unless he shows signs that he likes you I wouldn't. It would just make things weird between you two." I nodded and then Gabriel appeared.

"Roman." He said and nodded to me.

"Hey, Gabriel." I said. He looked around and said

"You need to go talk to Andy."

"Why?"

"You just need to." Gabriel said. I sighed and nodded.

"Okay, see you later." I said to Rain. He nodded to me and I got out my wings. I started flying to the hotel and once there I flew through the open window. I saw Andy sitting on the bed thinking. I made myself visible and he looked up at me.

Before I could say anything he grabbed me by my shoulders and kissed me.
