Chapter 9||Or Maybe Not

Rafal's POV
I was playing with Gobi when I saw Czar training with Lucario. They were both in perfect sync while training. I was amazed how strong their bond was, and was even more determined to be as strong as them. Gobi noticed me staring at the duo and glanced at me with a questioning look.

I shook my head smiling at him. Professor gave him to me, asking me to take care of him so of course I did. We have been close friends and I thought we had the strongest bond ever until we met Czar, her Lucario, and Serena. Alon seemed to have a thing for Serena, but he would never admit it to anyone but himself. Serena on the other hand was pretty oblivious towards his love and seemed to have eyes for someone else.

"Hey Czar, do you mind helping me and my Pokémon train for a bit? You guys seem pretty strong, and we wanna get stronger in battling!" Serena requested. "Sure! I don't mind! So, who are you gonna train first?" Czar questioned the honey blonde girl.

"We could start off with Sylveon." She suggested. "Alright then, Lucario, go take a break please." She smiled softly at the Aura Pokémon. He nodded, walking to sit beside both me and Gobi. He looked at me smirking, and I looked always snapping.

"Don't give me that look Lucario, you can already sense how I'm feeling can't you?" He nodded chuckling, and Gobi just smiled at me. "I'm not really denying it but not a word to anyone alright you two?" I said sternly. The duo nodded obediently, and I could tell Lucario was trustworthy. "Umbreon, please come out my friend!" She took out a Pokeball, letting her dark type Eeveelution out.

She squealed, growling at Sylveon as soon as she knew what was happening. "Sylveon, let's start it off with Moon blast!" Serena called. I went a tad bit closer to watch. Sylveon was stronger against Umbreon, but looking at the dark type, she was more experienced. Czar's brows furrowed slightly, focusing on Sylveon and not minding to take a glance at Serena. "Protect!" Umbreon obeyed her orders, using protect just in time.

"Now, quick attack if you please!" The brunette smiled sweetly. "Headbutt!" Serena exclaimed. Obeying quickly, Sylveon landed a hit on Umbreon. I was fasinated, the two were going head to head in battle. "Czar's not using her full power, she's holding back." Alon sat beside me. "She is?" I asked my friend. Lucario nodded, looking straight at Czar.

He could also sense she was holding back. "Umbreon, let's finish this off with Iron Tail." Umbreon followed her orders, and knocked Sylveon out.

"Sylveon!" Serena said in worry. "Umbreon could have just knocked her out, but we decided to take our time. With her knowing a steel type move like iron tail, Sylveon can easily be beat. Your Sylveon is quick, but could be quicker if trained a little more as an Eevee."

      The silver eyed girl explained. "Thank you for your service Umbreon, please get some rest." Umbreon bowed, as she returned to her Pokeball. Ace walked over to us, waking up after his nap. He sat on my lap, as I brushed his fur with my fingers.

It was always comforting to me. "You guys are so strong!" I praised. "Thank you Rafal, but it was nothing we were just training." The brunnette shrugged her shoulders as if it were nothing. "We should keep moving though, we can make it to the next city soon too. Petalburg right?" She questioned. "Mhm! Our next showcase is there too." Serena said. "Maybe we'll bump in to Charlotte there, who knows?" Czar giggled. "Now, let's go!" Alon started running, as we followed. "I think I should have brought Hydregion, this would have been quite a lot faster." Muttered Czar under hear breath.

 "Come on out Dragonite!" Alon called out throwing a Pokeball, which sent out the orange dragon type Pokemon. The amber eyed boy flew back and picked up Serena, which she was glad about. Czar and I ran faster, in hopes to catch up. "Help us out Pidgeot!" I yelled, taking out my last Pokeball. I lent my hand to Czar, which she took. We flew almost as fast as Dragonite, and soon caught up with the other two. 

After a while, we arrived in Petalburg City. Heading straight to the Pokemon Center, we healed up both Sylveon and Umbreon. "Hey guys! Look at this!" Serena exclaimed calling us over. We came over to her and saw that there was a ball being held. "The same thing happened in Kalos." "We should go sign up now. It's tomorrow isn't it? Better sooner than later, there are most likely going to be a lot of people if we sign up tomorrow." Czar said thoughtfully. We signed up, and went to have dinner. I felt luckier than ever before to have my new friends with me on this journey. 

Hi! It has been a while everyone! Up top is my doggo Kopiko, a hybrid. He's part Shih Tzu and part Poodle. He's really tall already. His fur is from the Shih Tzu and size from the Poodle. This doggo can Tik Tok. He is a star. That's all for now, see you all soon!
