White growled bitterly as her assistant rambled on anxiously about her incompetent mistakes. She was going to lose it, if they didn't catch this troublemaker Rose Quartz.
"I can't believe this!" She growled, slamming her hands down on the table causing a few of her executives, including Yellow and Blue, to jump or shrink under their boss's anger. Holly Blue raised her hand, White watched boredly as it shook with nerves, before she rolled her eyes and gestured for the insignificant woman to speak up.
"Perhaps we should try and expose her for who she really is. We could hire a detective or possibly a private investigator.." she explained as if White hadn't already thought of it. White silenced her with a single gesture. The pathetic excuse of a human being slumped down in her chair.

"Do you think I'm a fool? Don't you think I would've already tried that? Do I look stupid to you? Well Ms Agate?" She demanded as the woman shook her head frantically.
"N-no of course not, you're the smartest person I know... I was merely suggesting.." her mouth snapped shut at White's irritated look.
"Well, keep your pointless suggestions to yourself!" She growled slamming her fist into the table once more. She looked expectantly at her other executives but they all looked down or mumbled pointless excuses or suggestions. She groaned dragging her hand down her face.

"Mama," Pink's soft voice tore through the tense board room as she slipped in through the side door. She froze midstep however at the sight of all White's employees. "Sorry, I, I didn't mean to interrupt...I was just gonna ask you about this homework question I had..." She started to back up, but White quickly encouraged her further.
"Nonsense, Starlight, let me see." She insisted taking the paper from her baby's hands. Pink smiled nervously at her mom, scooting closer to her subconsciously, which warmed White's heart.
"Did you figure out what you're going to do about Rose Quartz?" She whispered to her mom softly as White softly explained what Pink needed to do to fix her math mistake.

"Unfortunately no, it would seem we've hired a bunch of incompetent fools." Yellow grumbled as Blue shook her head in disbelief at their stupidity. Pink smiled sympathetically at her family as she took her homework back from her mom. White sighed stroking through her youngest's hair.
"Still nothing with the private investigator you hired?" She whispered gently, as she clutched her paper to her chest. White sighed cupping Pink's face in her hand. If only she could keep grown up matters from her youngest's ears. However, Pink wasn't so little anymore, and so White caved slightly.
"Unfortunately, she's found nothing, much like my other employees, she's useless." She grumbled, taking her hand from Pink's face as she shot daggers at her employees. Pink rocked on her heels.

"Well you could-" before she could finish, White stood suddenly, taking her youngest by the arm she yanked her from the room.
"Pink as much as I find your antics adorable, I'm afraid this is serious matters we're discussing." She stated as she shut the door behind herself and leveled her youngest with a stern look.
"But I'm a Diamond too! Shouldn't I help!?" Pink questioned, her face scrunching up in indignation. White shook her head at Pink's question as if it was the most absurd notion she'd ever heard.

"As adorable as that sounds Starlight, you run the group homes, your sisters and I run the company. You're much too young, naive, to even think about doing anymore than that, yes?" She inquired and Pink scowled, her arms crossed as she looked away.
"I'm fifteen! I'm not a child!" She snapped, making White scowl at her daughter's tone.
"Only children argue about not being a child, now go back to the waiting room and wait for your sisters and I to be finished. I don't want another word about it! Am I understood?" She demanded and Pink scoffed.
"Crystal." Was all she said as she stomped away. White sighed, shaking her head at Pink's dramatics.

Pink sighed, she should've know her mom wouldn't want to hear her ideas even if she was kinda sabotaging the company. Still she was a Diamond too! It wasn't fair! Angrily she texted Pearl making sure to encrypt her message with a more secretive one. The message was clear, to her and Pearl anyway, that tomorrow was Blue's big day supervising a new construction site for the big upcoming factory. And well "Rose Quartz" was going to ruin it.

Pink was so tired of not being taken seriously. Maybe if she was someone her family couldn't ignore then they'd listen.

"You're suppose to be doing homework." Her mom stated, making Pink jump slightly. She didn't dignify her mom with a response because even though her and Pearl had decided she'd be on her best behavior while they messed with her family, her mom had made her mad. Pink wasn't a baby anymore and she was sick and tired of being treated like one.
"Pink we're ready to go." Blue piped up, her hands clasped in front of her and Pink just wordlessly began gathering her things. She wasn't going to say something and come off angry because that would just get her in trouble and she couldn't afford that.

"Let's go, I think we've finally figured out how to deal with that nuisance once and for all!" Yellow exclaimed merrily and Pink subtly looked up, however, inside her anxiety was growing by the second.
"How so?" She asked swinging her bag onto her shoulder. White sighed, moving between Pink and Yellow as she wrapped an arm across her youngest's shoulders and maneuvered them down the hall.
"Have you eaten anything since this morning, girls?" She demanded of her children and Blue shrugged and Pink scowled at her mom changing the subject.

"We're gonna lure her in to a crime." Blue whispered in her ear, making Pink look up at her older sister with a small smile. Blue beamed back, feeling as if she'd repaired their bond slightly since the whole secret boyfriend incident.
"So she'll get arrested?" She whispered and Blue nodded as Yellow tugged her into the elevator. Pink quickly followed suit, White trailing after.
"Are you ready for bed Starlight?" She asked brushing a hand through Pink's hair and forcing her best smile Pink nodded.
"It's been a long day, mama." She agreed and delighted when her mom smiled back. All according to plan.
