Part 7. Life goes on

As the days went emotionally he became stronger and more independent. He loved Tae secretly, from distance and the pain of it somehow strengthened him just like the training made him physically firm. And whenever his fellow soldiers would ask him about his lover, he'd make a face like "want pics of my baby? suck my d".

But then something heartbreaking happened...

So Tahyung's wife in lavender marriage is Park Chaeyoung a.k.a Roseanne Park, and Park Jimin is her brother and Tae's best friend. Even though their message triggered Jeongguk to make a drastic decision, there will be no villains in this story, just misunderstood people and life.

And Jeongguk felt guilt. They already broke up and he wasn't supposed to talk to him. He thought he was the reason of Taehyung's sadness and distress so that it would be better to end everything.  He thought that change was for better. He did it for him.

Author's note

Again, lavender marriage is when gay people marry in heterosexual marriage not because of love, but to hide their sexuality. There's no real feelings or relationships. In this case Taehyung's wife knew he was gay and that he had a man. The reason Chaeyoung asked Jeongguk to stop talking to Tae is because she was truly afraid that Tae's family might have get to know about it and it'll result in a really bad outcome. I won't  spoiler much, but apparently Tae's parents wouldn't accept his sexuality, like the majority of parents wouldn't, sadly.

While Jimin thought that Tae's ex was hurting him, that's why he kindly notified him about Taehyung's suffering and asked Jeongguk to be careful. He was worried about his best friend, who wouldn't? Tae was sad, unwell, physically and emotionally he was broken. He hated the life of a 'normal man' and... he missed Jeongguk so much.
