I arrived at Card Capital early the next morning. Shortly after, everyone else arrived. Despite their protests, I wanted to go alone. Eventually, everyone agreed after I promised I would return afterwards.

Right after that, I set off for Psy Shop. My breath was shallow as my fingers ran over the package kept in my sweater pocket.

Looking up at the sky as I walked, there was little sign of Link Joker, if any. I shook my head, ignoring the world around me until I got to the shop.

When I finally did, Kourin was waiting inside.

Kourin was a close friend of mine. She was tall, slender, and had beautiful long blonde hair.

"Perfect timing," she exclaimed, "someone sent a letter here and it's addressed to you. Not sure who it's from, though. There's no return address."

I took the letter, and sure enough, there was no return address. I began to open it. The inside revealed a neatly folded piece of paper, nearly identical to the first. I opened it and began to read.

All right. If you've gotten this far, I'll presume you're going to keep going. That was just a test. Now the fun begins. There are five pieces of a map around the city. When you are finished, your map will bring you to your Kai. Are you ready?

Challenge 2:

Tomorrow, there is a tournament going on at the park close by to Card Capital. You know which one I'm talking about. You must win, and then, and only then, will you get your first piece, along with the next letter.

Good luck.

I sighed, closing my eyes and tilting my head back.

Kourin's voice brought me back to reality.

"You okay," she asked?

I had forgotten she was even there.

"Yes," I replied. "Thanks for your help."

She smiled and gave a small nod.

"Thank you, Kourin," I said before turning to leave.

I had to get back to tell the others. And more importantly, I had to win that tournament. I needed to. For Kai.

I began my journey back to Card Capital, now more determined than ever.
