"Scarlet Witch"

A few days had passed since Loki's failed attack on the Avengers, but for Wanda it felt like only a few hours.

Everyone was more than shocked that the rookie avenger was able to pull off a solo mission against Loki, who originally needed 6 avengers to take down.

Given he did get away, Wanda was given credit where credit was due after she single-handedly took down Loki.

About a week after the attack, Thor returned to Earth and spoke with Wanda.

"I read his thoughts," Wanda told Thor in private outside the Avengers base.
"Loki, he's just the tip of the iceberg. He's collecting something called 'infinity stones' for someone, an alien. I couldn't catch his name, but he was a giant, muscular, purple alien. He had some glove on his hand. The plan was at first to get the Tesseract, which the Avengers stopped, and now he was trying to get the stone from Vision."

A worried look grew on Thor's face.
"There's something bigger going on around us, something we can't quite tell yet," Thor said with sternness in his voice.

"Whoever that guy was, he made even Loki afraid, so he's not to be messed with." Wanda said cautiously.

"Yes well....we'll just have to see." A grin grew on Thor's face, the kind that told you that everything would be fine, that there was nothing to worry about.
"I'll talk with the other agents to hear what they've noticed about Loki."
Thor swing his hammer around his wrist and flew off to the other side of the Avengers base.

Wanda turned around to return inside, when she saw someone approaching her. It was a man with a gold cape, green body, red face, and a glowing gem in his forehead.

"Hello Wanda." said The Vision in his calm English accent.

Wanda smiled. "Hello, how did you sleep?" she asked as casual as possible.

"Pretty well thanks to you. I've heard what happened, and thank you for saving me and keeping this," he pointed to his forehead, "out of the wrong hands."

Wanda looked down and smiled. She could feel her face blush.

"Well....it was nothing, really. You would've done the same for me." she replied.

"Well, I may be an android," Vision said, "but I think I'm still allowed in restaurants. Would you like to grab a bite for lunch? " he asked her.

Their conversation was suddenly interrupted by alarms blaring.
"All Avengers to the quinjet! All Avengers to the quinjet!"

Wanda smiled. "How about after this mission?"

Vision returned a smile.

"Deal."

Vision and Wanda arrived in the back quinjet, followed by Steve Rogers (Captain America), Thor, Falcon, War machine, Black Widow, and Hawkeye.

As they stepped in, the ramp behind them closed, and the quinjet's engines began to run.

"Wanda!" STEVE had to shout over the blaring engines, "I hear people are calling you Scarlet Witch now! I like it, it has a nice ring to it!" he said.

"Thanks!" Wanda had to respond back nearly screaming at the top of her lungs.

"All right team, let's get to Avenging!" Steve said.

The Avengers smiled enthusiastically, ready to take on the danger.

"Avengers A-"

Steve's sentence was cut off by the sound of the engines taking flight.
