I marched out to a garden so overgrown that everything was over your head in height, grass and many other weeds flourished, but I was determined to do this!
I knew I wouldn't be able to do this all by hand after trying to soften the ground with a pitchfork.
I asked my father to let me use his push mower to mow the garden clear which makes pulling out the weeds much easier with less itchy distractions.
After that I spent hours in the blazing hot sun in a never ending loop of pulling giant roots out of the ground without any form of gloves or anything, I ended up getting a single patch cleared enough to put some silver beet in.
Never really fancied silver beet but the family always forced us to eat it so might as-well grow some.I managed to clear around half the garden before I decided to do something else since I could feel the painful sting of the sun and I knew it was gonna be painful for a while after I leave this place.
