Chapter Two~ Unexpected Personality/Jack J

*Kate POV*

Omg, Jack Gilinsky, THE Jack Gilinsky lives right next door to me, well this will be exciting.

"Hi, my name is Kate! I'm a fan of your song Wild Life by the way." I said blushing. God I must seem like a weirdo fan.

"Thank you! So um, come inside! I'm sorry I made you guys stand outside for so long. Kate, how about we go up to my room until dinner is done. If you want." He said nervous. Why would he be nervous around me. He's hot, famous, and adorable. I'm just, ew.

"Sure, why not!" God I was smiling like crazy.
He led me and my family around his house first and then we met his family which were super nice.

"Hello! I'm Jack's mom and this is Jack's father."

"Hello! Jack why don't you and Katheryn go up to your room and I'll set up some video games for Gabe and us adults will hangout down here until dinner is done?"

"That's what I was just about to do." he seems more calm than he seems on Vine.
Whatever I guess. He led me up the stairs into his surprisingly neat and tidy room and just sat on the bed going on his phone looking at me occasionally.

"So uh what do you wanna do?" I asked since he was being a bit rude.

"I don't know, and don't touch anything I don't need you ruining my bedroom."

"Excuse me? What happened to the 'oh so nice Jack' that I was just talking to five minutes ago?" I said with hand quotes.

"Why do you care? Your just another fan."
Ok what the heck happened to the hot, nice, and adorable Jack from Vine??

"Oh and Jack Johnson is coming over too so don't fangirl too much." Are you kidding me. I'm not a 'crazy and obsessed' fan!

"I'm not like that and what is your problem? Do you have your underpants in a twist or is it your man period?" I asked him with some sass. For real don't judge a book by it's cover, and don't accuse me of being a crazy fan because I like one of your songs.
He opened his mouth to say something but before he could someone was knocking on his window.
He went to go open it and sure enough, it was Jack J. Apparently the tree man.

"Hey Jack! Who's the cute girl?" Oh my lord Jack Johnson just called me cute! At least I know he is actually nice. Yet Jack clenched his fists when he called me cute? This dude is bipolar as heck.

"She's my new neighbor, her name is Kate."

"Hi Jack. Thanks for the compliment. I think you pretty cute too." I said blushing and smiling like a goof ball. Wow my heart is racing and the more and more we flirt the more jealous Jack G looks.

"Thanks, could I get your number Kate?"

"Sure!" I held out my phone for him to put his number in and he gave me his.
Once we were done we switched phones and I was still smiling and let me tell you, my cheeks hurt so bad right now.

"KATE, JACK DINNER IS READY!" Jack's mom yelled from down stairs.

"Coming!" he yelled "Ok Jack stay up here, I'll ask my mom if you can come too, if she says yes I'll come back up stairs and tell her that I'm going to text you, you'll go down the tree, and ring the door bell."

"Okay sounds like a plan, bye Kate." before he left he kissed my rosey red cheek and then climbed out the window.

"Bye Jack." Man could Omaha get any better?
