Chapter 7 Engaging the plan(trying to)

Gongyo's POV

Well from the looks of it they're eating something i cant tell since the target is blocking the view by much as i was about to move brunette found me looking straight at me (HOW THE FUCK DOES HE KEEP FINDING ME?!) though being distraught i still had to move since he found me.. man he's starting to get annoying. I moved to another tree but much more far away i took out my binoculars and i was pretty much spying on them to see a pattern in their sleep the target slept but the annoying brunette stayed awake for the rest of the fucking night(guess he cares for the target a lot but for how long can you stay up late?) i smiled knowing what to do now so i went back to base.

Johan's POV

Got no sleep cause of that spying piece of shit

"Hey... good morning.. looks like you didn't sleep"

"No I didn't"

"Why?"

"Should i tell you?"

"Of course.. i wanna know"

"Well... get ready we're goin out"

"How? I cant even walk"

"Out in my back yard"

"Why?"

"To watch birds or the clouds"

"No why are we going out?"

"You can't stay here sitting on the couch"

"Fine"

[after they got ready]

"Ready to go outside?"

"Sure i guess but we went out yesterday"

"That was for your stuff did you take your medicine?"

"Yeah i did"

"Good then lets go" after we payed down we looked up in the sky

"Sunday was shit right?"

"...yeah.. it was the worst" i looked at one of the trees about 500 ft away i squinted and I didn't see the man (good he's gone for now)

"Where in the hell are you looking at?"

"That tree 'bout 500 feet away"

"Which one?"

"That very one tree over there"

"Why are you looking at that one specifically?"

"It reminds me of something" (reminds me of how long I've been here)

"What dies it remind you of?"

"How slow life could be but yet so fast.."

"The fucks that supposed to mean?"

"You know when your alone time moves pretty slow but when you meet an old friend or someone time moves fast.."

"Didn't know you were a sentimental man"

"Im not.. usually"

"Mm okay..."

I ran towards boss's office

"SIR-"

"Come in... do you need anything?"

"I- haaa haaa know- haaa haa an idea-"

"First breath so i can understand you better" i inhaled deeply

"I know how we can get to the target"

"Okay.. proceed"

"So the brunette is probably going to stay awake to keep the target safe and if we can have him sleep deprived enough we can get to the target"

"Sounds good"

"I'll be off then"

"But.."

"But what?"

"Are you going to stay awake as well?"

"Yeah how else would i know that he fell asleep?"

"You know what treat this as a game" (oh no please don't be a wretched game)

"If one of you guys sleep the other wins and get what they want simple as that"

"Okay.. I'll leave now"

"Bye" •••

I didn't know how long that kid would stay up for fucking days just for the target

[Three days later]

Damn i think imma 'bout to pass out.. thats when everything turned dark and i fell... i think..
