It was 2:30 a.m. in the wall clock. Taking a glimpse of it, Y/n put her head back in her book. She was so nervous and excited at the thought of going on a long destination with Rin. So excited that she wasn't able to sleep. So, she was killing her time, by reading a book, till 4.

It's not that she didn't want to, but she lied to Airen. Guilt filled her heart. She was sad with the fact of telling lie to her best friend, for the first time.

She told her, that she was going to her grandparents house, in the early morning, also being in interiors, the phones don't work much.

Absolutely convincing lie. It was also compelling because a day before that, they had parent teacher conference. Good use of her mom talking to her about her so-called 'smooth life.'

Airen believed her. She was also going to some planned vacation with Reo to Hokkaido-what rich boyfriend! But due to heavy snowing, their flight got cancelled. It was still snowing a little bit.

She closed her book, not able to concentrate anymore. Getting up from the bed, she walked over her wardrobe and picked out her outfit, of a long coat in dark brown, with a pair of faded skinny jeans and white sweater, with a bluish summer t-shirt underneath, along with black boots.

She didn't want to take off too many layering of clothes, once landing on the warm land of Australia.

After getting ready, she walked over Airen's side, and shook her lightly, to wake her up. But being a heavy sleeper, she didn't budge to move. Y/n sighed, softly smiling and placing herself down, next to Airen and hugged her sleeping figure, nuzzling her nose, in the blanket.

"I am going to miss you." She whispered, patting her head and stood up, walking towards her bag, pulling out the handle, ready to leave the room. She turned last time, with a smile.

"I should leave a message." She trailed towards her table, and wrote a small 'goodbye' on the sticky note, and stick it on Airen's forehead. Because, she knows, if put on the desk or bedpost, she's going to ignore it.

Exhaling sharply, Y/n smiled in contentment, "All set." She whispered to herself, coming out in the hall, taking out her phone to check any text or call from Rin. He told her to wait for his call.

There was none. Glancing over her watch, that showed the time, almost 3:00. Just then her phone started vibrating, and the name flashed on the screen, bringing a full smile on her face.

"Hello?" She picked up, chirping in that squeaky tone. Rin chuckled listening her voice, "I am in the parking lot, love."
"Okie~i am coming." Wheeling the bag out of the house, making sure she locked it. Made her way towards the elevator, she pressed the button to the parking lot.

The binging sound, continued as the elevator descended, floor by floor. When the door opened. Y/n didn't notice, and kept her busy playing in her phone.

"Are you going somewhere too?"

"That voice!" Y/n's felt her limbs frozen. Turning her head slowly, she met with the icy blue pair of eyes. She gulped hard, gasping for air, laughing hysterically and then crying.

In her head.

"H-h-hi Sae~" she waved at him, feeling her voice cracking. Sae's brows knitted together."What's the matter? Are you fine? You face is pale, like you saw a ghost." He chuckled.

"Yeah? Yeah! I am fine totally!" She grinned, swinging her hands, back and forth, trying to hide her obvious nervousness.

"No! I am not! I am absolutely not!"
