A week later,

Y/n pushed the shopping cart forward, looking for the next item in her list. The vacations will start soon. However, Y/n was not so happy about it.

Airen was already looking for the destination with Reo, and Nagi haven't showed himself around her anymore.

That was just so annoying and alone, that her friends aren't around her anymore. But not them want to be, she wanted some time to overwhelm the mishaps in her life.

Not that Airen wanted her to join with Reo and her, but Y/n also declined the offer, saying she doesn't want to spoil their moment.

Since she was getting bored, being alone at home, so she walked off to the shopping mart, picking up some grocery etc. She lifted the packet of milkshake, putting it in her cart along with other stuff. With her mind, juggling with the string of occurrences.

When she saw a very familiar face through the gap, behind the rack. Think of the devil, there stood Rin, with a bandage on his lower lip. Their eyes maximized seeing each other, at the minimum distance of half meters, in front of one another, after being avoided for a whole week.

Y/n had a ambivalent feeling seeing him after a week. After being so close to each other and then cutting off like nothing existed. Y/n warned herself for total abstinence from Rin. But her heart spoke otherwise.

She averted her gaze away, clenching her jaw, stomping towards the cashier, loosing interest in everything here.

Whereas, Rin who was, so escalated seeing her, however, when her cold eyes, met with his, his will to talk to her increased. After being suspended from the school, for a week, seeing her would be the first thing to do. He wanted to apologize, again. He wanted to redeem for everything, one last time.

"Y/n, listen to me!" Rin ran after her, holding her upper arm, stopping her fast tracks. "Rin, leave me." Y/n snarled pulling her arm, out his grip, feeling disgusted with his touch.

"Y/n, I need you to hear me first. Then whatev-"

"What should I hear? Why should I hear!?" She spat, now throwing daggers him. "Haven't you already done, enough, embarrassing me in front of everyone! Huh?" Her eyes started welling up. Although, sobbing in front of him, would be the last thing she would do. 

"As you always wanted. You used me in every way possible. Isn't it just great? Oh! Why the hell even I am talking to you?"

She grunted, proceeding with her walking. She was so furious and hurt, feeling unbearably stupid, believing him. She wanted to cry seeing him but also wanted to slap him. Cry because she really missed him, but doesn't want to believe that, and slap because of his stupid stunt, and her losing Nagi,

"Y/n, I am sorry. For everything. I just lost my conscience-"

"Nagi hasn't spoke anything to me, since that day! What should I say, to you about this! That I am very thankful for it'."

Rin just looked at her, without speaking anything. He knew that he was wrong, and really had nothing convincing in his defense. Even if he told her that he likes her, she'll never believe him. Not now.

His jealousy led him to another dead end. And what stabbed him more was, she was missing Nagi, not him.

"I really don't have anything to say in return to it. I just. Ugh!?" He exhale sharply, struggling with his words, biting his lower lip, gripping the handle of the cart.
