Exhausted and with Gaia's blade at his chest, Percy felt a bleak acceptance. Annabeth's anguished cry cut through the tumultuous battlefield as Gaia reveled in her victory.

"We have to go!" Piper pleaded tearfully, trying to pull Annabeth away.

"I can't leave him!" Annabeth resisted, struggling against Piper's hold, until Frank gently hoisted her off the ground. "Frank, let me go!" she demanded, trying to escape his grasp.

"No, we need to regroup, ensure Percy's sacrifice counts for something," Frank implored, carrying Annabeth as the remaining demigods fled the scene.

Percy was plunged into an icy void, a voice imploring him to awaken and heed its call.

He stirred, finding Hades and Artemis standing over him. "Get up," Hades commanded gruffly.

"Why can't you let me die?" Percy asked, resigned and seeking respite in oblivion.

"Because this isn't what we want. Do you truly want this to end?" Hades questioned, a rare gentleness in his voice.

Percy gazed downward, tears streaming. "No, I want to save them all, but I'm exhausted from the constant battle," his voice cracked with weariness.

Artemis moved closer, embracing Percy with a motherly warmth. "We know, Percy. That's why we intend to send you back, to give you the strength to save countless lives. To spare you the agony of their deaths," she said softly.

Percy nodded, his determination rekindled. "Please, I can't endure their losses any longer," he implored, his eyes showing both vulnerability and newfound resolve.

Artemis held Percy closer. "We're granting you a chance for a new beginning, a fresh life, and a chance to rewrite history," she explained, her gaze unwavering.

"Okay," Percy agreed, newfound determination shining in his eyes. "I'll save them. I'll safeguard Camp Half-Blood. I'll stop Gaia or Kronos. I'll do whatever it takes."

"Go, save them. Do it not for us, but for those you cherish," Artemis encouraged, gently tapping Percy's head, and his vision turned black, his body
