A second chance

Dumb name

"We need more supplies." Damien commented. "all of us are tired." Thaila said as they walked. "I could go try and find a store." Jin shrugged as she reached into her pockets and found her wallet. "I have five hundred in cash and my dads credit card, plus some drachmas." She said casually as the two looked at her bewildered. "What now?" "FIVE HUNDRED?!" Damien said loudly. "My dads rich." Jin shrugged again. "Ill go buy some food and water, take my bag and go to this address." She handed Damien a note and some drachmas and walked away with her hands in pockets.

She walked endlessly. Jins mind was elsewhere. She was thinking about her mother.

Flash back
"Come Jin again!" Her mother said as they trained. Jin stabbed her blade at her mother and blocked an on coming attack. Jin rolled under a sword swing and swiped her legs out from under her mother. "Good." Her mother said as Jin breathed heavily. "Lets go for ice cream." Her mother smiled and Jin nodded excitedly. "Happy 9th birthday Jin." Her mother said as they walked out of the training room to freshman up.

End of flash back

Jin frowned at the memory, but she also felt loss. It was the last happy memory she had with her mom.

Jin looked at the sky as she walked, but the smell of rain in spring caught her nose. Jin turned and stopped, she saw a small shop named "Natures garden? Who would name a shop such a dumb name." She scoffed, but none the less began walking to the shop. Pushing past people on the strip.

As she got close her hand flexed. "This place isn't mortal." She eyed the shop door. She sighed and opened the door.

"WELCOME TO NATURES GARDEN!" A golly voice rang out through the store. Jin looked around and saw vines, flowers trees and other plants around. Jin saw open shelves with snack bars and canned food on the left. There were racks of clothes in all different colors on the right of the door. "Uh hello."  She said as she looked straight and there was a counter with a short tubby man. He had a base ball cap on.

Jin walked forward slowly and took her ring off and put it in her hand. "Oh no weapons in here child." The man said as Jins sword instantly came out. "Please put the weapon away. I mean you no harm. I am pan." Jins sword shrunk back into her ring. "My apologies lord pan." Jin hesitantly said as she shoved her hands back into her pockets.

"No need for the lord title. People don't believe in me anymore."pan said and slightly laughed. "Back in ancient greek times we were a lot more powerful. Your father-" pan stopped abruptly and looked nervously around "lets just say he was strong." Jin was confused now. "What are you talking about?" She asked the god. "Im just rambling. Please look around i know your team could use the support."
Pam gestured to the store. "Here." He teleported a basket into her hand.

Jin nodded and took different foods and drinks off the shelves. "Vegan?" She asked over shoulder at Pan in curiosity. "No not at all. Meats meant to be eaten, but eating to much can hurt the environment." Pan semi lectured while jin moved onto clothes she grabbed all different colors in Damiens and thailas size. "We are out of black." The god said as Jin looked at Hoodies. Jin didnt tell the others but her hoodie had gotten destroyed in her fight with Kronos.

Jin frowned at the colors, but chose a rainbow hoodie. "Nice pick. The goddess Iris blessed those ones." Pan commented as Jin walked over to pay. "Modern money or drachmas?" Jin asked as she pulled out her wallet. "Modern." Pan responded as he added up everything and Jin pulled put a black credit card. "Debit or credit?" "Debit." "Bag." "Definitely." Pan packed everything into two bags. "Be careful. Tell the satyrs where i am." Pan said as Jin slightly bowed and left the shop.

"Percy youve grown." Pan said as more customers walked into the shop.
