There's a ghost in my dorm. I found this out today, it's not a Halloween thing nor is it a prank. In fact it couldn't have been more real, seeing as I was sitting face to face with him.

He didn't look like your average schema of a ghost. Not the sheet over the head with eyes cut out type ghost but a real ghost. He was tall. When I ran into him, his head could barely fit under my doorway. He wasn't a non-humanly height though, he was probably around 6'2.

He looked almost normal. Pale skin, dark hair, clothed. But there was something about him, something off.

I couldn't touch him. When I saw him in the doorway, I ran right through him trying to get to my phone and shut the door on him. And he just walked right through.

After I realized that he was real and wasn't going to hurt me, I begin asking him questions.

Who are you?

I'm Leo.

How'd you get here?

I died here, ghosts linger where they die.

How'd you die?

His answer to this question...upset me.

Alcohol poisoning. My friends and I went out drinking, I had a bit too much and they just dumped me back at my dorm. And I fell asleep and never woke up I guess.

I'm sorry...

Don't be, nothing we can do now.

How long have you been dead?

Well what year it is? Time isn't really a prevalent factor in the afterlife.

Well if that's the case, 2 years I believe.

2 years? That's kinda of a long time. I was t even at this school yet when he died.

If you've been here for 2 years then why am I just seeing you now?

Because I was careless to be honest, it's very simple for me to avoid being seen or even noticed by you. But I don't know, I guess I just got bored, and from all the time I've spend around you, you seem like a cool girl.

Are you lonely?

I mean, you could say it like that.

Can we be friends?

He paused after this question. He paused and stared at me, his deadeyes live with confusion.

Well, I don't know, it's just weird isn't it?
