I fixed my hair then looked down my slightly bloated stomache as I groaned in anger. I know River SAYS he is going to be there but I barely know the guy. He could get up and leave without any warning. I don't know for sure that he wont.

"You okay?" Aubrey asked leaning in the doorway as I pulled my grey tank top on.

"Yeah just feel kind of sick and I have to pee like every half hour." I groaned as I turned on my side to see my stomache that wasn't showing barely at all. Nothing seemed different besides the fact that I feel like complete crap all the time.

"You look great. We need to hurry if we're going to make it on time." She said grabbing my arm and pulling me downstairs.

I let Aubrey drive since she's trainging to get her license anyways which will come in handy if I go into labor one day with only the two of us at home. Or something crazy happens to where I cant drive like my legs get cut off.

Once we arrived at the party I already wanted to leave. I could tell that people were staring at me as I got out of the truck with Aubrey at my side. I wanted to go home and go back to bed before I threw up on somebody. The way people were looking at me really made me feel uncomfortable.

"Hey guys." River smiled as he walked over to us.

"I'm going to go find Darla and Haydey." Aubrey said as she brushed passed us.

I stood there with my arms crossed over my chest not saying a word as River stared down at me. This was his party for finally becoming an alpha and since people knew about our baby already things were even more awkward than before.

"How do you feel?" He asked.

I looked at the ground not talking still as he walked over and wrapped his arms around me. I let him hug me as I relaxed myself against him. I loved being against River, it made me feel comfortable, like nothing could hurt me. I felt him kiss the top of me head as he continued to hold me.

"I feel like crap." I admitted as I sighed against his chest.

He let go of me then looked down at me smiling like he wanted to say something but didn't know what to say. He grabbed my arm and tugged me a little bit towards the back yard where the party was being held.

"Let's get you some water." He said as we started walking towards the house.

"That's exactly what I need is something to make me pee even more." I grumbled.

"Peeing a lot?" He questioned as we reached the back yard.

"Pregnancy thing." I mummbled as he grabbed a bottle of water and opened it for me.

"How far along are you anyways? You don't seem to be showing barely at all." He stated as we sat down at a table watching people.

I could smell the hamburger and hotdogs being cooked on the grill basically making my mouth water. The fresh fruit was being cut up and put into seperate bowls making me think more and more about food.

"Six weeks tomorrow." I said as I sat next to him trying to not focus on how sick I felt.

"Six weeks? That's it?" He asked.

"Yep." I replied popping the 'p'.

"Are you sure you're pregnant? You don't seem any bigger at all." He commented making me feel a little self-consious.

"Of course I am." I snapped annoyingly.

"I'm just saying you don't seem bigger at all. Maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea to see the pack doctor just to make sure that you are for sure." He said.
