The situation went even worse as the time passed. Y/n had works to do almost everyday and it was rare to have a day off and it slowly tear her up. She felt exhausted and despaired. Her friends felt sorry for her. But nothing was solve except for a quarter of the work had reduced.

-Don't tell me you're gonna stay up late tonight to finish all of them?- hange furrowed while Y/n just nodded her head.- You're not a human anymore. I'm gonna talk to him.

Y/n was too exhausting to stop her. Levi and Hange finally came to an argument, with the presence of Mikasa and Armin.

-You're being a freaking shithead. It's illegal to hand her that much work. Are you insane? What did she do to be hated like that?

-That's right, manager, Y/n is just a normal person and she needs a day off like all of us. But I'm afraid that won't even be enough to her.

-I hate that voice of yours, Levi. Better stop after today.- Hange walked to Y/n, gave her a sandwich.-Must remember to have dinner girl. Your stomach wouldn't like it if you skip your dinner.

-Yes, mother.- Y/n smiled and pushed her out, waving at her and turned back to her computer work.

It was late then, around 8pm. Y/n got used to it anyways. However, Levi seemed to be struggle with his. The exhaustion was shown clearly on his face. The man rubbed his nosebridge than tilted his neck back.

'Seems like I overatted my endurance'- Levi thought to himself. he stared at the person sat nearby him, still concentrated on working-' How could she? Is she a robot?'. However, he needed water. Levi left his seat, but his body shaking-' What the hell?'. Y/n glanced at him, asking:

-Do you need help? I see you're shaking.

-Water, please.-Y/n rolled her eyes,he was arrogant as always.

-Hold on a minute.- She cameback quickly with a cup of water in her hand. Levi took it and had a sip, it was fresh.-You're struggling with your work. I've done mine, so I may solve the rest for you.

-Thanks.-Levi said as he moved to another seat. Y/n sat down and started with the rest.- Don't you feel exhausted?

-Yes I do, I'm a human.

-Do you hate me?

-Yes, I do.

-Do you hate this job?

- Yes, I do.

-Then why don't you quit it?- The woman stopped typing, she stared at him.

-I would if I don't have my friends here.- She bit her lips.-They're precious to me and you won't understand.

-A girl.- Y/n stared at him, he didn't mean gender, it was somebody. But Y/n stopped asking.

-I'm done. Let's go home!

Levi nodded, they both left the office. But when Y/n was checking if the door was carefully locked. A big noise appeared. She turned back and got panic. Levi just fell off from the stairs.

-Omg, hell no. Are you okay?- She hurriedly ran down and shooked the man, he groaned in pain but didn't move. An ambulance was called and it came in a blink of an eye and took him to the hospital.

Levi was okay, he had scratches on his forehead. However, he was exhausted plus some previous diseases in his body. Y/n sat outside the room, staring in. Levi was laying on the bed, looked pale. The woman sighed and went to the hospital's canteen, she just remembered that he hadn't had dinner earlier and his stomach would be worse then.

When Y/n cameback, Levi had already woken up. However, he didn't seem to be able to sit up.

-Let me help you.-The man looked at her akwardly.- I bought you soup, at least it can make you feel better.

-Why didn't you let me be? You could just leave me and go home. I remember you admitting your hatred towards me.

-You're insane, aren't you? The police will probably call me the day after to ask what happened and I will going to get into trouble. By the way it was immoral to leave you there. That was so stupid of mine.

Levi let out a small laugh but it quickly faded away. He took the bowl of soup from her hand.

-Is that the way you hate somebody?

-Not really, I try to be friendly as much as possible. It's annoying to have many enemies. That why even I hate you, I can't let you die.- Y/n wiped off the sweat on Levi's face. Her face was closed to his. The man went confused and shy.- Here is your medicine. You'd better watch yourself then. Your health is going down, if you pass away, there will be nobody to scold me. That's sad.

-Thank you.-Levi smiled, this was the first time he smiled in front of her. Y/n felt her heart went crazy and electric rays ran over her body. It felt like heaven.-Have you ever loved before?

-Me? I haven't.-She saw Levi's glare at her.- Just personal reason.

-No!- Y/n said, dumfounded and confused. She quickly stood up and rolled eyes in disappointment.-Do I look like I am the "bullier"? And why tf do you keep asking me that? Is that why you hate me? Right. I'm the victim, the fcking victim in the story.

-Hey, wait..- Levi tried to sit up to hold her but the woman quickly ran away. He could see her tears fell out of her eyes. Levi tiredly laid his back on the bed, he picked up his phone to call his mistress. She didn't answer the phone, Levi even felt more depressed.

They were in an ambiguous relationship, Levi sometimes asked her to be his girlfriend but the girl rejected. However, he loved her and he would do anything for her. He didn't know Y/n before, but when he heard the story from his love- Nancy, he had hatred for Y/n. All the things he'd done was to help Nancy did her revenge. But now, it felt like mistakes.
