New colleague.

-Where were you lastnight?-Levi asked when he saw Nancy sat on his sofa.-And why are you here?

-I had to work overtime yesterday. But you don't like to see me here. You don't love me anymore?

-Don't say that Nancy, I'm tired. You should go home, I will go back to work.- Levi knitted his eyebrows, he went to his room, quickly changed the clothes and go back to the company. His head was still hurt.

-Good morning, I heard you fell down from the stairs yesterday, right?- Hange asked as she saw Levi with a bandage on his forehead.- Luckily Y/n was with you lastnight.

-You're talkative Hange, back to your work, now.- At the time, Levi received a call from the superior. His face became pale as he let out an exhausting sigh.

Y/n was sitting in her seat, doing her daily work. She still felt hurt by what Levi said yesterday and she couldn't face him now, it would be so embarrassed. However, it was weird of him to ask. 'Have I ever seen him before? Or did we study at the same school?'-Y/n thought to herself. 

-Hey!- Hange murmured as she flicked Y/n's elbow. She pointed at a new figure in the office. That was also when Y/n's heart skipped a beat. It was Nancy.- She's our new colleage.

Y/n stared at Nancy, her emotional was mixed: anger, hatred, fear and guilty. As Nancy caught her eyes, she waved back.

-Hi, I'm Nancy Kudo. It's my first day working here. I hope I could receive support and love from all of you.- She said in excitement. The woman made her way to the seat near Y/n.- Good morning! Long time no see, Y/n-chan!

-Hi.-Y/n said, this girl really got her on her nerves. It was right, the worst is yet to come. Nancy was back, she was just like a ghost and wouldn't let the poor Y/n go. Y/n just wondered why Nancy was here and what she would do next? And was she related to Levi? That was why he had such weird questions even though they hadn't met before.

-You're acting just like a stranger to me Y/n. You know I don't like that. And I'm here to pay back what you did to me.-Nancy whispered, small enough for her and Y/n to hear. Then, as nothing happened, she turned to Hange to greet her.

Time passed and it was time to go home. They would have a party tonight to welcome Nancy. Of course, Y/n didn't want to join. It was going to be an ashamed experience. This had happened before, when Y/n and Nancy joined a party, in front of many people, Nancy pretended to be naive and started to gossip about Y/n.

Y/n was laying in her bed, eyes stuck in the phone screen, hesitated if she should stay at home or not. But then there was a message from Levi :" I will be appreciated if you can come tonight, Y/n!". Her heart bounced, she was nervous, but also happy. His smile when he was at the hospital still stuck in her mind. By the way, she was sad and disappointed at his question and for considering her at a bad person. But thinking of the way he smiled at her when she turned up at the party, Y/n texted back :" I will organise my schedule so I can spend time for this. Thank you."

And although, it was a bit strange, Y/n still prepared carefully for the party.

She showed up on time in a mysterious blue dress and glittery silver jewelries, red lipstick and sharp eyliner with smoky eyes. She felt confident for tonight.

-It is a welcome party so maybe Nancy wouldn't go so far.-Y/n talked to herself. She stepped into the restaurant the restaurant, the one before. Bad memory cameback but she had prepared everything.- Okay, I've been through that before and it's just going to be fine if I have to go through it another time.

-Hey, come in Y/n.-Sasha waved at her, she was standing right at the door, maybe waiting for food.Y/n waved and smiled at her.-Everyone is inside, except for Mikasa, she's busy. I think she is having a date with her boyfriend Eren.

-Omg, Mikasa has a boyfriend, that shocks me.-Y/n replied.

-Yes, she's a lil' shy but kind, that why people love her. And you know Armin has a crush on a girl working on the advertising department of our company named Annie. But that guy can't confess to her since he doesn't have any courage to do so.

-Poor him. How about you, Sasha?

-Huh?- The girl became akward.-I mean, it's not time talking about this topic. Let's join the party Y/n. Whoooo hooo!

The room was decorated in a vibrant style, it was different from the last time. Y/n came in and shook hand with her colleagues, but when it came to Nancy. Y/n handed out her hand, and Nancy acted like Y/n would slap her, the woman stepped back and held her head in Y/n's surprise.

-Hey, what's wrong?- Levi was the first one to speak up. He came to see if Nancy was okay. Suddenly, the girl hugged him and started to cry. 

-I'm scared Levi, I'm so scared. I was slapped once before and I'm affraid to suffer it again.

-What the hell is wrong with you? I was just shaking hand with you?-Y/n said, she knitted her brows at the new girl.

-Sorry, but you look so fierced, I thought, I thought...- The sentence couldn't finish since the girl sobbed. Levi hugged her, patted her back to calm her down. While, Y/n felt like her heart shattered into hundres pieces. It was no doubtful then, she had feeling for that man.

-You think I'm gonna fcking bully you. It's so stupid of you to think so.- Y/n said in anger, she didn't like Nancy at first and her role just made her feel sick. 

-Y/n, be careful with your language.- Levi said as he deadly stared at Y/n. The atmosphere fell in silence, but quickly faded out since Hange started the party.
