"What?"-Neytiri was in disbelief, she and Jake had still yet to talk about having children. It was just a few weeks ago when the current chiefs mate started noticing a few body changes

It was night, Jake was sleeping and Neytiri had her head buried in his chest. She couldn't help but smile at the comforting warmth.
It was nice and sweet. sleeping was one of the few times when Jake and Neytiri could relax, especially after the war, both of them had been constantly tired to the point where they shared much more time sleeping than talking with each other
Out of nowhere, she felt an unpleasant feeling creeping up in her chest-"not again"- Neytiri tried her best to slowly get out of her mate's grasp without startling him.
It did take a few tries but in the end, she got it and went to her mother
"I knew that you would come"- her mother said-" I have the medicine ready, here, drink it"
Neytiri thanked her mother and took a sip out of the bowl, the green substance left a disgusting taste in her mouth but anything for this nauseating feeling to leave her chest I guess.
Visiting her mother at night soon became a daily routine for her

"Have you still not told him?-Mo'at once asked her child, Neytiri shook her head-" when are you planning on telling him?

Jake slowly started to catch up on her weird antics, it always left him puzzled.

Jake looked over to her mate who was talking to her mother, both of them had serious looks on their faces, he wished he knew what they were talking about, maybe he could help them with solving the problem

Jake took a great look at Neytiri, it was hard to get sight of her since both of them had been busy dealing with after-war stuff, he missed her touches, hugs and... Generally spending time with her
he noticed how Neytiri would always go somewhere when she thought that he was sleeping,

Was he not enough? He had to admit, Jake had not been the best lover for the past few weeks
Jake buried his head in his hands, was he seriously going to become doubtful of his mate just because he was being untouched for so long? Jake smiled in agony, he felt so pathetic.
The clan leader looked at his mate again and raised an eyebrow, he saw some changes-" huh?"- it was a little unnoticeable but her breasts seemed to get fuller and her stomach slightly larger?- "what's going on?"
"It's been two weeks Neytiri...and you still had not told him"-Mo'at angrily whispered and pointed her head towards jake- "you're starting to show, he's gonna start noticing it sooner or later"
"I know ma... I just don't know how to tell him"-Mo'at grabbed her daughter's hand
"I know how hard it is on you and I'm sure that you'll do it"- Neytiri smiled and peeked towards Jake who was obviously staring at her- " but keeping it as a secret for so long is no good, good luck on it, my daughter"
"thank you mama"-Neytiri took a deep breath and went to her mate
" Neytiri?"-He looked at her with a worried face- "is there anything wrong?"
"Wanna go on a " date"?"- His eyes lightened up
"Of course!"-He stood up" when do you wanna go? What's the occasion?"
"I wanna talk with you about something serious"
"Something serious?"
"Yeah..."-Neytiri was avoiding his eyes, Jake couldn't help but to become worried, was this where she was finally going to break things off with him because he was too boring? Or because he couldn't give her any attention, the Clan leaders head was slowly becoming a mess
He didn't want her to leave him
" come let's go"- Jake followed Neytiri, the deeper they went more serious and anxious her face became.
He swallowed, when they were far enough she stopped him and finally decided to look at him in the eyes
"Jake..."-she brought her hands to his face and gently caressed it - " I'm pregnant"
Jake froze- "what?"
"I'm pregnant"
"Like right now?"
"Yeah"
"Like at this current moment"
"Yes Jake"
"That's why you've been avoiding having sex with me?"- Neytiri blushed and gave a small nod. Jake laughed and hugged his mate
" I was so worried Neytiri, I thought that you would dump me because I was a bad mate, this is the best news I have ever heard!"- The clan leader was jumping from excitement at this point - "why did you not tell me before?"
"I was worried"
"For?"
"I was worried that you didn't want any kids"- Jake chuckled and kissed his mate's wife's forehead
"Not only do I want to have this one with you but also much more"-he put his hand on her stomach, Neytiri almost cried in joy
" I see you Jake"-she kissed him
"I see you Neytiri"-He kissed her back
