Daiyu's nursery was decorated with pale purples and blues; silver stars and moons decorated the painted ceiling with a silver baby mobile decorated with crystals, some in the shape of planets. Daiyu, only 7 months old cooed as she chewed on the ear of a rag doll that looked to resemble her father, dressed in a pale purple onesie with a matching bow at the end of her tail. She hugged the doll close to her as she chewed, happily laying in her crib, when a pair of hands lifted her out of the crib.

"Good morning, Moonstone," Macaque sang with a smile on his face. "You're probably hungry."

Macaque walked to the chair in the corner of the room, holding a bottle with his tail. Daiyu saw the bottle, and her eyes lit up she held her arms out trying to reach it, dropping the doll onto the floor. Macaque chuckled giving his daughter the bottle, using both her hands to hold the bottle as she drank. Macaque noticed the little Macaque doll on the floor and used his powers to pick it up. He looked down at Daiyu, his expression softened.

"How was a so lucky to be blessed with something so sweet and innocent," Macaque petted her head, "I hope you end up just like your mother and be the smart, caring, and beautiful woman that she is."

He started to gently play with her foot, "I know you won't remember this, but no matter how big you get, you can always come to me. You're my little girl, and I made a vow to protect you and your mother. No matter what."

"Ba!" Daiyu babbled out.

Macaque let out a chuckle. "That's me...Baba."

General Macaque was sitting outside, it was night, the moon was full, and the stars were out. Daiyu was going to be okay, all he could do was wait for her to wake up. A cup of tea was placed next to him, he turned to his left to see King Wukong holding a cup for himself.

"How are you holding up?" King Wukong took a sip of his tea.

"Tried," General Macaque sighed, "but at the same time I can't go to sleep. What's everyone else doing?"

"MK is trying to come up with what to call us, and everyone is throwing out ideas," King Wukong smiled, "I guess "King" and "General" are too formal. Anyways, what's got you so restless?"

"I failed to protect her." General Macaque let out a defeated sigh as he hung his head. "I promised her I would be there for her, but I wasn't."

"You are so dramatic." King Wukong's laughing made him lift his head. "You didn't fail to do anything bud. You raised a fighter, and that's what she did. Daiyu spent days trying to meet back up with my son. She used a lot of her power in a short amount of time, and her body gave out. She'll wake up, she'll get her energy up, and boom, she'll be fine."

"How are you so confident?" General Macaque raised an eyebrow.

"Because my cub has gotten a little too cocky one too many times with his powers," King Wukong rolled his eyes, "gosh that kid makes me feel as old as I am. I thought this stage would be easy."

King Wukong let out a groan, while the monkey next to him just laughed.

"I'll drink to that." General Macaque chuckled.

The two monkeys clicked their teacups before taking a drink from their cups.

"Mr. Macaque, Mr. Wukong," the two turned to see MK standing behind them.

So that was what MK chose to go with. It wasn't bad, since that's what they were used to being called in the future.

"What's up bud." King Wukong smiled.

"Daiyu just woke up," MK rubbed his arms nervously, "she wants to see you, Mr. Macaque."

Daiyu sat up in the bed with a cup of tea, as General Macaque walked into the room.

"Hey Moonstone," he sat at the end of the bed, "how are you feeling, you gave us a scare."

"I'm good Dad," she gave a small smile. "I'm sorry, I made you worry about me."

"Daiyu," General Macaque took her hand, "you have nothing to be sorry about. You did what I raised you to do. Fight. It took Wukong to say it to me to realize it. I'm so proud of you, and I'm just glad you're not hurt."

Tears pricked the corners of Daiyu's eyes as her smile grew bigger. She hugged him tight; General Macaque slowly wrapped his arms around his daughter. Searching for his daughter, made him worry more, but as every day went by, he was finally reunited with her.

"I love you," Daiyu whispered to him.

"I love you more," General Macaque hugged her tighter.

Daiyu with a pacifier in her mouth and a tight hold on the rag doll monkey slept peacefully in Macaque's arms. The sight of the sleeping cub made him smile, he felt his eyes getting heavy, and he let out a yawn. He looked over at the clock on the wall, it was early afternoon.

"Your mother won't be home for another hour," Macaque looked down at the sleeping baby, "and it is your nap time. I'm sure she wouldn't mind if I took one with you."

Macaque used his tail to gently place the baby and the doll in the crib before he fell asleep in the chair next to her himself.

Dice Demon sat in his dark office, looking over the many monitors on the wall behind him. He turned his chair when he heard the doors of his office open. Club and Spade stood in the doorway, bruised, dirty, and out of breath.

"What happened to you two?" Dice Demon scoffed as he took a drink from his cup.

"King Wukong...and General Macaque," Club panted out holding his injured arms.

The glass in Dice Demon's hand cracked. "What?"

"They showed up when we had the brats and both halves of the jade," Spade kneeled, "he said you'll have to go through him to get want you what."

The slowly cracking glass shattered, and the red liquid inside dripped onto the floor as Dice Demon silently stood up from his chair. In one swift move, he flipped his desk across the room.

"SUN WUKONG!" Dice Demon roared. "You and your brat have stood in the way of my plans for the last time!"

Dice Demon straightened his jacket, before walking past a shaking Spade and Club, both kneeling with their heads down.

"Clean this mess," Dice Demon ordered, "and when your done tell Diamond I wish to speak with him immediately."

"Yes Mr. Dice," the duo said in unison.

Both demons flinched at the sound of the door slamming behind them.
