Back at the Gyukon Household, later

that same afternoon

Jigen's fist hit the table and clanged his pens and paper. "Enari, Luno, I do not approve of that use of force," Jigen sternly tells them. His face was creased with intense disapproval and irritation. "I agree he should not have done that dear Nabi, but to hurt him like that was uncalled for!"

Luno and Enari stood kneeled on the floor, while Jigen sat across from them only a few meters away. They are in a dimly lit room furnished by a desk on the right side, a small table with seating pillows, four in total and a bookshelf with some documents, manuscripts and packed with scrolls stacked on top of each other. Luno and Enari felt sweat coming down their foreheads. They always feel uncomfortable when their Gramps is lecturing them on something when he feels irritated or frustrated, but LUno and Enari are sticking with their guns.

"You both should have exercised more control not aggression towards him!"

" And why? Should we let the jerk hurt baby Nabi when she clearly hasn't done anything wrong? That was THE GUY'S fault, not ours!" Enari said, blurting out to him, wearing her temper on her sleeve.

"I did not say that he was not at fault, but you two could have made things much worse. Our Clan does not instigate conflict, only ends them!" Jigen said, raising his voice more.

"Isn't that what we did!? We told you, Gramps, HE started it! And he would have done something to Nabi if we didn't beat the shit--"

LANGUAGE, Enari!"

Enari growled in frustration. "We needed to clean his clock to get the message across. You've seen and experienced this before, didn't you?"

A silence occurred in the room. Jigen cleared his throat and gained his composure, looking somewhat ashamed. Enari had a tear streak down her face. "I don't like this, Gramps! Everytime we go out of this house, something happens. It's always some slur, or racist action against us. I want us to feel part of the community."

Jigen nods silently. He knows too well her pain, but he also knew at that moment that perhaps his grandchildren have some points. Seeing them upset like this broke his heart.

"I know, my grand-daughter. I feel your pain as much as anyone else's. I wish I can provide a solution to this most trying situation, but it is the only one we have."

He turns to face Luno. Luno's face is still flushed with anger from before, but milder than when he left Bloom in the park.

"As for you, my grandson, you also should have been more kind with your words to the Winx."

Luno is silent for a moment. "Yeah...well, why should I?"

"Because they have done much for the Magic Universe...this naturally includes Gardenia..."

"In that case, why didn't they DO something to help US? Why should they be paragons of morality when they haven't suffered the way we have? Why is it always them?! Why do they always hog the spotlight? They weren't there when Big Sis--"

Luno tears up and is choked at the mere mention of his sister.

Easy there, Luno, Ahra comforts from within. There's no need to torment yourself like that.

"I just want her back!" Luno finally chokes out the words. Enari swallows, emotions also running high with her, but pats her cousin in comfort.

"My grandchildren, I hear your hearts' words. Luno, the pain of losing your older sister, Miyuki, haunts me as well. Not a night goes by without me thinking of her memory. Yours are in the right place, do not doubt that for a minute. But the key to Balance also lies in self-control. To reach balance, one must find a way to resolve their inner demons. It is not enough to focus on the present, for the past always comes back to sting you if not dealt with properly. Failure to do so and..."
