The Gyukon Residence

That Same Evening

In The Main Dojo Hall Of the

Kamigetsu Branch

Jigen clasps his hands together, performs a hand-seal in fluid motion, lefts his head and nods to the others to do the same. On the pillars of the Main Dojo, candles light up the void-like blackness of it all and cast a reddish-yellow hue onto the proceedings. The wood finishing glows an eerie yet warm feeling across the large complex as ten to twenty senior member Gyukon Members-all from the Main Branches-kneel and fix their hands into the same position. As they do so, they form an eye-like formation, forming end to end as everything becomes clear. In the center, an unconscious Luno rests on his back on an oval bamboo mattress bed, blackish bruises, blood and several serious scars litter his body, a canvas of a mosaic of bloody cuts and scars.

Outside of the formation are six figures watching in intense anticipation and anxiety. Safira holds little Nabi and pats the little one gently as she feels a tear or two drop onto her shoulder. Nabi hugs her mother as she watches on, as if silently pleading for her brother to be brought back. Enari and Genji kneel with their mother Rin. Enari quivers as she represses tears of anxiety; Genji places his hand on his sister's shoulder and his eyes are watering freely as they watch on. Aiko, sitting to the right of Genji, pats him on the back in return, a troubled expression on her face. Rin glances at her two children and brings both into her, petting their heads in a bid to soothe them. She turns to face the operation and then to Safira. Safira glances at her back. They both are hoping things will work out.

Enari turns to look at Nabi and notices the little one crying silently, with a tearful peep every now and then. Enari silently gets up and walks to her. Safira and Rin take note, and so does Genji. Enari gently comes up to the little ones and takes her hand into her own.

"It's okay. He just has some big owies on him, but he'll be back," Enari says to Nabi as she nods to Safira. Safira notices this and smiles, knowing what Enari is doing. Everyone turns to look back at the proceedings

Jigen pauses and looks at Luno's face. His eyes water briefly but close them before they could streak down his cheek. He takes a deep breath to compose himself.

"Ahra, former Night Beast of Destruction, are you certain this is the only way to do this?" Jigen asks out loud, sternly. The tone of the room halts as if the spirit of the event stops to see what the response is.

"I have made my recommendation clear to you, Jigen of the Gyukon Clan, my friend. If you wish Luno to be brought back to good health again-as I do-this is the only way! And I told you about the powers our adversary used...not to mention him using the Dragon Flame and taking the form of the Last Princess of Domino."

"...I see. We thank you you input." Jigen replied. He took a sigh and exhaled. Let us hope this ritual healing goes well...

"All right then. As all are present right here, we shall begin the Kamisuiryuu Healing Ritual," Jigen said loudly and firmly. Jigen reaches behind him and places something in front of him.

A large glowing sphere containing brilliantly glowing water sloshes around in front of him and it begins to stir. The orb suddenly glows brightly, and the light soon overpowers the reddish-yellow glow from the candles; the red drowns at as ethereal bluish-green illuminates the entirety of the Main Dojo's interior. Mist-like wisps of energy, streaking across the room like mystical serpent coiling, writhing and looping through the air with the dexterity of swimming dolphins, rise and engulf the room in a calming way. It was slow at first, but soon it whips up into a reverse maelstrom and tendrils of water shoot outwards and up into the air. The water was a stunning combination of blue and emerald with black linings around it as sloshes and intertwines in the air. The darkened room at once was lit up by this brilliant display of magic.

Jigen put his hands together and raised to eye level and began to chant under his breath. Soon, the other members kneeling in formation chanted to the same rhythm as Jigen. As if in response, the glowing resonates and intensifies as the chanting continues onwards.

Suddenly, each of the tendrils streaks downwards towards Luno's body and engulfs his entire body like snake unhinging its jaw and swallowing it whole. A dome-like shape forms around the perimeter of his body, enveloping his body in a near-holy light of healing as the operation begins. It spins around in a slow-moving whirlpool type fashion and in slow motion, out of sight from the rest of the eyes, the water solidifies into icelike sharpened points. Each point stabs into Luno's body, and then like snakes, they slither into the wounds, gorging onto the wounds. Yet, as they do, blackened-reddish corrupt energy seeps out like blood from gashes and deep wounds, pouring outwards as the mystical water weaves through Luno's body. Minute by minute, the cleansing rids more of the corrupt Yami-Eiseichakra within Luno. Out of the mystical dome of water, a stream composing of plundered Yami-Eiseichakra and blood pours out and pours into the sphere that once withheld the pure water. Nabi reaches a worried hand in the direction of her brother, but Enari clasps hers gently and offers her a smile and a kiss on the head.

Four long minutes pass by as the bloody red-blackish stream of blood and corrupt magic filters away, thanks to the mystical water. Genji, Safira, Jigen and the others feel a choking sense of tension through the Main Dojo Hallway. Not a word was said. The process and visual imagery of the scene playing out in front of them was enough to communicate to them.

At last, the stream of corruptness ends and all of it gets emptied into the sphere which has now grown to the size of a watermelon to accommodate the amount ringed out from Luno's body. A collective sigh is heard from Safira, Nabi, Enari, Rin, Aiko and Genji.
