Episode 9, Part 3: Kill The Crimson Moon
That same day at Love&Pet,
An hour after Vlitera appeared
Late morning
*Music plays:
"And that's basically what has happened up until now, Mrs. Faragonda," Tecna finished, glancing over her shoulder to the more shadowy corners of Love&Pet every now and then.
"The store has been closed off and we already have spoken to the police, telling them everything..."
What Vlitera told her was nothing short of frightening and despite her experiences fighting the Wizards of the Black Circle, Valtor, Darkar and the Trix, there was something about Vlitera that stuck to her like a leech siphoning every other thought from her mind like blood.
All the Winx were gathered by Tecna's main computer up in the lounge. The day was becoming increasingly overcast and the sunlight was beginning to be blocked by the clouds, as if the setting was perturbed by the occurrence. Tecna was seated at the front and center of the group; to her right was Musa, Flora, Aisha, Stella, Roxy and finally, Bloom on her farthest left, all overlooking her shoulder.
They already had spoken at length about the destruction of Tir Na Nog, the fight with Shirayuki and the Kamaiakuma, the unexplained strong gale that nearly ruined the Frutti Music Bar, the Bloom mimic that Flora and Roxy fought and the strange hieroglyphic pattern that attacked Bloom earlier that week.
A feeling of nerve-wracking ill—anticipation filled the room as Tecna finished filling in her side of the story.
"There's nothing more we can say for now," Tecna says, catching herself glancing over to the shadowy parts of the lounge
"I see, Winx. This is indeed troubling news," a mature, amiable yet serious feminine voice said over the computer screen; she wore black horn-rimmed glasses with sky blue lenses and her ears were adorned with golden loop earrings. She wore a long-sleeved pink shirt with visible ruffles at the tips , along with a navy-blue vest with white trim, puffed sleeves along with a single violet button conjoining the collar area. Her eyes are dark blue and she has short curly hair and a fair complexion.
Her name: Mrs. Faragonda.
Faragonda then leaned back into her chair and put her hand to her chin, weighing the situation carefully. "Lunastra...how long has it been since I last heard the name? What else has this Arashiro told you?", she asks, cocking an eyebrow out of curiosity and suspicion—not for Arashiro, but for the mystery circumstances.
"Not much else, to be honest," Aisha answered with a visible shrug. " We're going to call him once we're finished with you. We're just nerve-wracked over here."
Faragonda nodded, understanding their plight. "Even with you girls going through all that you have experienced, this would put even us on edge. The enemy's powers and abilities certainly have few parallels to the rest of the Magic Dimension and if they can be used against you with that effect, there's no telling what could happen from here. Girls, PLEASE stay onguard and keep calling me. I do not get this way often, but even I sense something--" Faragonda paused for a moment, then continued--- "atrocious is going to happen."
"We got you covered, Mrs. Faragonda," Flora said. Her mind zipped to the memories she has of Luno briefly, of him fighting against the Bloom mimic, of them meeting in the BestFresh grocery store. Has he experienced this?, she thought to herself.
"Is something on your mind, Flora?" Mrs. Faragonda said, looking both curious and concerned.
"Uh, no, no, it's nothing, Mrs. Faragonda. Just a lot on my mind," Flora replies with a bit of a shake in her voice.
