Scarlet sat on his bed in his bedroom back in Signal.
He felt dead and alone inside.
The room was quiet, not a single sound or motion took place.
Ember had checked on him twice this last hour, tears still dry on her face.
They had lost so much these past few months, he couldn't blame her.
He could blame himself though.

It had been 6 months since the end of the Vytal Festival.
6 months since he had seen or heard from the others.
6 months since they had failed.

No.
He had failed.
Not just failing himself but all of Team STEL.
All of Beacon.

He hated himself probably as much as the others hated him.
So he had gone home, alone as a form of self-punishment.

Not like he had anywhere else to go.
Because Team STEL was no more
