You heard the little change in Aethers voice as it was kinda odd. Maybe a voice crack you wondered as you calmly looked around, your tail moved around side to side in a snake motion catching the mans attetion. Aether and Paimon both got up from there chairs. "Hey Paimon thinks we should tell jean about this!" The girl shouted placing her hands on her hips proudly, "What do you mean by that Paimon?" Aether questioned.
"Ya know~ How Y/n is joining our adventure and maybe join the Knights of Favonius like you!" Paimon snickered in a cheeky way. "Yes.. , but Y/n do you have any type of fighting skills?" "No I do not-", You responded quickly tapping the cup of water in front of you "Well Paimon thinks we could maybe train-"
"No that's fine I will protect you Y/n" Your eyes soften at Aether before giving him a"thank you" Smile before you quickly cleared it off your face.
"SOMEONE HELP THE HILICHURLS ARE ATTACKING"

Aether nearly shouted, you stood up but his arm reached over across your chest. " Y/n please sit this one out.. we will be right back okay?" You glared at the man before nodding and sitting back down. Aether quickly ran past you and down the stairs as Paimon flew beside his shoulder quickly. You sat on the wooden stool as you looked around the area.
You soon look down at your lay collecting your thoughts on how you came to being here. Looking to your side you made eye contact with a women, She had pale skin with short jet black hair. She had a very plain and simple dress on. She walked up the stairs and didn't remove eye contact with you, The most thing that made her stand out were her red eyes. Sh̶e̶ stared into your eyes as you grew an unsettling feeling aboutH̷e̷r̷. She walked into a alley before disappearing from eyesight

Aether slowly walked up the stairs with widen eyes, Your neck turned his way as you jumped in surprise. It was blood on his sword, " What happened?.." You asked standing up from your seat. " Oh nothings wrong Y/n just a few hilichurl's!" Aether spoke in uplifting tone."Its starting to look past Dusk we should head home!" Paimon shook her head agreeing to Aethers statement .Paimon took your hand giggling as you nearly had to run along with Paimon's flying. Aether shook his head and jogged to catch up to the both of you. (Wait where do they even stay at? )
