"what is it, mari?" he asked softly as the girl on the hospital bed excitedly show her older brother the manga on her hand.

an imaginary question mark popped above (male name)'s head. his eyes narrowed at the manga on his sister's hand. meanwhile, his sister, himari, who had no idea what her older brother was thinking grinned brightly. "isn't that... the manga that i bought for you earlier?"

"yeah!" she exclaimed. (male name) sighed as he took an apple from the plastic bag on the side table, peeling it. "so, what's about it?"
