The only reason we have 10 dogs is because every time I asked for a kid and Katniss said no, she would feel guilty and buy me a dog. I only asked 4 times, but Cookie and Oreo had some chemistry. Luka is the youngest and Buddy is the oldest. Anyway, I bring them inside, well, more like they ran past me into the house. The only thing that stopped them were the cradles that stood before them in the living room. They looked the 2 little human beings. Then they looked at Katniss and me, then back at the babies. Then they barged over to us to give loves. They've all wanted a human baby as much as I did. In fact, when any of us walked past the school, they would look at us pleadingly. Well, not Luka, he never really paid attention to things unless they were right in front of him. So, while all the other dogs are over licking us to death, he is over there looking at the twins curiously. Once I got the dogs off me, I head to the Kitchen to start dinner. Tonight, I'm making lamb stew. After I finish, I pour the dog food into the dog's bowls, and then I call everyone for dinner. As we eat, there was a comfortable silence. When we finish, we decide to go to bed since today was a long day. I carry the cradles up into or room and set the at the foot of the bed. Katniss and I get into our Pj's and climb into bed. Then all the dogs come into the room, but instead of climbing into bed to sleep with us, they all surround the twins and choose to sleep there. "No one's getting them." I laugh. "Not without getting mauled first." Katniss jokes. Then I fall into a dreamless sleep.
Fyi, for the shepsky puppy picture, the puppy in the top corner on the left is Luka. The one below him is Skipper. Besides Skipper is Snowball. The one on top of Snowball is Peanut Butter. The one in the top corner on the right is Dude. Below Dude is Sherlock, and on the left of Sherlock is Bella.
