Peter 'Maverick' Mitchell

"Pete?" Penny said toward my husband. "Penny? what.. what are you doing here?" He asked back. I sighed and walked over to where all of the patches were. Superiors called them patches. Pete was a captain, and I was an admiral. Ice was my twin, and we went to top gun together. "Admiral Mitchell," a tall, muscular young man said, standing at attention. "Please, at ease, we are in public," I said, smiling and saw his call sign. "Hangman?" I said, looking at him. "yes, ma'am, that's me. Uh, I don't know if you know, but I was top of my class," He said with pride, and then I nodded and headed back to the bar. "I'm going home, Pete," I said, kissing his cheek, walking out to the car, and driving off. I got home to our dog. 'Skylar' was husky, and she was very active. "Hi, babygirl. Are you ready for dinner?" I said in a high-pitched voice, petting her, setting my keys down, and going into the kitchen to feed her.  I hear Maverick walk into our house. "Hi Skylar!" he said petting her. "Baby whats for dinner?" he said coming over and kissing my cheek. "Pizza I don't feel like cooking. Can you order it?" I said smiling and setting Skylar's food down on the ground. "yeah of course," He said with a smile and I went to our bedroom and got my book and went back to the living room.  I sat down and started to read when Mav walked in and he set his head down in my lap. "You okay love?" I asked him while I played with his hair as I read. "Rooster he is back," He said while looking up at me. "well he is a good pilot he cautious something you need to learn about," I said smiling and setting my book down. "I know but baby I set him back four years," He said. I looked down at him and sighed. "you made a promise and you followed through, Rooster needs to understand that," I said and Mav took my hand in his. "God, how did I get so lucky with you," he said and I smiled and laugh and then there was a ring at the door. "Can you get that baby?" I said to him and he got the pizza he brought it back and we ate the pizza and we watched a movie and then went to bed.
