be my valentine - Hangman

Authors note:  In honor of Valentine's day, this one is for all of you single people who prefer fictional characters because they know they will treat you better.

It was the day of Valentine's day.  My fiance was out at work, and I was waiting for my fourth graders to come in. "Hi Ms. Taylor," Olive said with a smile handing me a valentines gift. "OO, what's this?" I said, taking the gift to open it. "No, don't open it now. Open it later for you and your fiance," she said and took her seat. Not before long, all of them came in sat down and started to pass out their Valentines. I got quite a few, and I sat responding to emails. They went to lunch and electives, and I went home after school with all my students' gifts. "Babe, are you here?" I said into my apartment.

No response; that's weird. Jake was always home before me. He always came home before me. Okay I thought about going to my bedroom to see champagne and roses on the bed and a big teddy bear and chocolates. "Hi baby," my fiance cooed behind me, and he wrapped his arms around me. I turned to face him. " Hi, why didn't you answer when I called out," I said, wrapping my arms around his neck. "I just wanted to wait and see your reaction. Also, I have your favorite takeout," he said with a smile and held up a bag from my favorite takeout restaurant. I kissed him, and we sat on the bed. He opened the bottle, and we started to eat and talk. I didn't drink any of the Champagne. " Baby, this is your favorite Champagne; what's the matter," He said, looking at me with concern. I looked away and blurted the words out, "I'm Pregnant," without looking at him. "Be my Valentine's baby," he said in response it caught me off guard, so I didn't know how to respond. " is this because I'm pregnant," I said getting up. "No its because I love you and your my fiance and also because it takes two to do the devils tango therefore making that little buddy in your tummy my responsibility as well," he said hugging me. 

"Yes I will be your Valentine," I said smiling and kissing him and laying down and going do bed.
