Chapter 6

Narrator: They already reached the camping grounds.

Teacher: I'm gonna all pair you up.

Mirajane (gives a list of paper to the teacher, smiling brightly): Here you go, ma'am! I listed it for you!!

Narrator: The teacher thanked Mirajane and the announcement of pairings started.

Teacher: Natsu and Lucy. Gray and Juvia. Jellal and Erza. Gajeel and Levy. Elfman and Evergreen. Bickslow and Lisanna. and Romeo and Wendy. Who else was not called?

Narrator: The teacher looked around and saw Mirajane and Laxus have no partners. Seeing that, she paired them up.

Meanwhile, Romeo was frustrated. Wendy too.

Romeo/Wendy (on their minds): Why does it have to be him/her of all people!?

Mirajane (cackles)

•°At the camping grounds°•

Lucy (sparkling eyes): Wow! I think this is gonna be so much fun!

Narrator: Yep. They have reached the camping grounds. And guess what? Mirajane's plan just started.

Teacher: For our first activity, we would be going on a little mountain hiking. Please go with your partners so we could start.

Narrator: And that's that. They all went to their partners.

Then the hiking began. Romeo and Wendy were trailing last behind the class. Wendy was so frustrated—she can't fool and prank anyone. Sighing, she held Romeo's hand as Mira adviced, even if they knew that it was just Mira's plan all along.

Romeo (flustered, shocked): H-Hey! Let go!

Wendy (mad, lets go of Romeo): But Mira told us to do so!

Romeo (furious): I don't care! Just.. don't hold my hand. It's embarassing.

Narrator: They didn't know that they were already left behind, and at the same time, Mira's plan is working. She was absolutely sure of what will happen next, based on her calculations.

Wendy (points a finger at Romeo): Now look whar you've done! We're already left behind! Ugh. This is all your fault!

Narrator: Wendy stopped yammering at Romeo when she saw a sign ahead of them:

"Lost? This way→"

Mirajane snickered. It was the opposite direction the class was heading to.

Wendy and Romeo, having no choice, followed the sign.

•°Two hours later°•

Romeo (scratches the back of his head): I think we're lost.

Wendy: What?! Oh no. What'll we do?! But we just followed the sign! How could we be lost now?

Romeo: I think someone tricked us in here.

Wendy: Who do you think might it be?

Romeo (shrugs): I dunno, really.

Wendy: Then what'll we do? I don't think I can remember how we came here, or what route we passed by earlier. What, we'll be stucked here forever? (blushes when she realizes she'd be with Romeo forever, in her mind). I'd be stuck here with him forever? I don't think that's a good idea. I oppose it.

Romeo (blushes, in a determined tone): We'll find a way to get out here and be with the others. You okay with that?

Wendy (nods): Mm.

•°Five hours later°•

Romeo (sighing): I give up. There's no way we could find them here. It's nighttime already. By now, they're probably fixing up the tents. (shakes in fear when he remembered Natsu, Wendy's brother, in his mind): What if he sees me with Wendy in this time of the day? He'll think that I took advantage of Wendy and raped her!! Mavis, help me!

Wendy: I'm tired. (slumps down the grass) I'm gonna sleep. (with venom in her voice) don't you dare do anything malicious when I'm asleep.

Romeo (with widened eyes): You think I'm gonna do anything bad? Huh. You wish, missy. I'm not a rapist.

Wendy (with closed eyes): Tch.
