Narrator: Everyone at Fairy Academy was having the time of their life; music blasting everywhere, people cheering and laughing contagiously, food stalls and rides all around the school. Students from other schools are there too, grinning from ear to ear. It was a lively day, indeed. It seems like nothing could stop the fun that was all around the place. Nothing and no one.

You wouldn't see a grim or sad face, only grins and smiles. No frowns and scowls.

Hm. But if you see Romeo Conbolt, he's definitely no smiles for that day. A visible frown was to be seen on the boy's face from everything that had happened earlier. The people that were passing by couldn't make him smile, or the happy aura that was surrounding him, either. All that had happened would never make him smile. The thought of the events hours ago makes him shudder.

Romeo (protesting, with a disconcerted expression): Why does the heavens hate me this day? Why couldn't I enjoy for just a while? Why does every bad things happen to me today of all days? (stomps his foot)

Mirajane (makes her way to Romeo with a very excited face): Romeo!!

Romeo (turns to Mira): What?

Mira: Come here for a sec.

Romeo (yanks his arms away from Mira, has a slightly frightened face): Hey, hey, hey. There, there. I don't wanna be in one of your scary plans now. And, please, stop pairing me up with Marvell. We're not meant for each other, okay?

Mira (raises eyebrows): What are you talking about? I was just here to drag you to our classroom. You know, our plans for today. It's the annual festival of our school! Pipe up, will ya? It's a time for happiness. No classes, homeworks, and projects! (throws hands up in the air exasperatedly)

Romeo (flustered face): Oh. Sorry about assuming. Thought you were gonna try to pair us up today... (sad face) And besides, I'm not in the mood for any fun things for today. Sorry, again. I didn't mean to be a party pooper or a kill joy.

Mira (sighs, smiles): Forget about your worries, just for today. It's not going to be fun without you! And you never know, Wendy might be missing you already! (gushes, Romeo blushes) And one more thing. I'm never gonna give up on pairing you up with Wendy. Ever. You could say I'm persistent—anything you want to call me. Cause you know it'll always be like that. I don't give up that easily on what I want.

Romeo (rolls his eyes): I can't seem to get what you're yammering about, but whatever. What're we gonna do, anyways?

Mira: I really don't know, actually. But we must be planning it fast. (winks) We'll find out, soon enough. (drags Romeo to their classroom) Hey guys! We're here!

Lucy (in a poker face): Thank goodness you've arrived! We were waiting for, like, forever! (beams) Anyways, we've got a plan to do already.

Mira (inquisitive look): And what might that be?

Lucy: A marriage booth!

Narrator: And Mirajane Strauss had the best idea ever.
