Tsukasa hadnt heard from rui in a while, he never saw him in school either. Unril he found out about the dreadful truth.
Rui was in hospital, for some reason, a very bad injury apparently. Tsukasa decided he would visit him, the visiting hours were 8am-5pm and it was 9am. He got dressed and started heading to his local hospital. He entered and walked towards the front desk.
"Hello? What brings you here?" The lady asked nicely.
"Well, Im here to *sniff*... visit a friend, Rui kamishiro."
"Oh.. poor boy.. you want to see him for the last time, eh?"
The person working next to the lady slapped her and whispered into her ear something Tsukasa couldnt hear.
"Pardon me, I didnt mean to say such a thing. Your friend is currently at room --." (I forgit what it was)
"Thanks." Achieving what he wanted, the star walked up the stairs to the room. After talking to a few doctors, he waited for his turn to visit. He already had visitors? Tsukasa thought. He watched as the popular girl walked out of the room, apparently, Rui was dating her. And Tsukasa was so jealous of her. He squinted at her as she walked away.
"Tenma, you may enter."
Tsukasa did as told and opened the door and entered. He sat on the chair next to Rui.
Rui looked as dead ever, he looked so lifeless, Tsukasa could see a bunch of wires underneath the blanket. Rui was definitely alive, breathing perfectly fine and having a healthy heartbeat but he didnt even react to Tsukasa entering, he only had a blank expression on his face.
"So.. how are you?" Tsukasa said awkwardly as he hid the presents he bought for rui behind his back.
Rui just nodded, signalling him that he was fine.
"I feel so bad for y- *sniff* you.. how'd this tragedy happen? :("
Rui just looked to the side, maybe he couldnt speak? So Tsukasa just acted like he never asked that.
"Well.. I bought you gifts for christmas its the 24th today.. I wont be able to visit you tomorrow." As he said that, he revealed all of the stuff Tsukasa bought for him. The most expensive things to the most cutest things in the world. Rui's eyes lit up and curved his lips. Tsukasa stared at his sweet smile, this was probably the 2nd time he ever saw that, sweet, sweet smile of his. Its always that stupid cat one.

Rui's body felt sore, he wanted to hug Tsukasa and thank him for being so kind.. thank him for everything.. but he couldnt. He was so pathetic to do a stupid deal that nearly costed him his life. Himself stopped him from loving Tsukasa, he got himself in trouble and cheated.
"Rui, is this the last time I will ever see you again?" He said whilst frowning.
Rui's eyes widened at his question, what the hell did he mean by that!? Was he going to...

He wont let that happen, for Tsukasa and his friends! He will continue to be their director and make shows...!

"...I just wanted to say that," Tsukasa struggled to get his words out, he was on the edge of crying but he wanted to act tough. "That.. nevermind."
Instead, he passed a card over to Rui shyly, considering what he had wrote on it was embarrassing. At this point, Tsukasa's face was red whilst Rui read it. Rui stared at the card and felt his heart warm up.

Rui blushed at the sudden, unexpected confession. He then realised, Tsukasa was already dating someone, right!? Tsukasa already loved someone else. Maybe he was cheating? Rui couldnt think of how to respond to that, he kind of hated Tsukasa for leaving him behind and ignoring him but he still loved him in the deepest part of his heart. He wanted to tell Tsukasa how much he cared, but he felt like, no matter how hard he tried, if he tried to speak, blood will burst right out of his mouth- as he had an infection of some sort that made him vomit his own blood. Rui wished for a chance to express his love for Tsukasa, ever since he met him, Rui craved for his attention everyday.
Tsukasa waited patiently for Rui's final response as rui stared at the card, whilst blushing. Rui reached for the pen on the counter beside him, it hurt to stretch his arm but it was an achievement. With the pen, he crossed the 'Yes' box and drew a smiley face. He smiled at what he drew for a while and handed it back to Tsukasa. After a few seconds, Tsukasa realised why Rui gave it back, he finally wrote down his answer! Covering both of the boxes with his finger, Tsukasa slowly moved them to show what Rui wrote. He gasped at the cross on the Yes box.
Rui liked him back?
Rui even wrote,
"I just want you to know, that I love you more than anyone I know. I hate myself so much, more than the possible amount, but you, you changed everything."
Tsukasa slightly teared up, Rui hated himself? Was Rui unwell the whole time? Even though he didnt really show it, Tsukasa cared a lot about his friends but people always only look at the negative part of him.
'Gosh, he is so loud.'
'He has such an annoying voice.'

Rui nodded.
"Hah rui.. so kind. Im sorry if I was ever annoying to you. Im sorry if I was ever too harsh on you. I never had the time to apologise for the things ive done to you soo... yeah. I hope you recover fast, I really, really dont want you to go yet," Tsu blurted out, "not yet, even if it means i'll have to pay for your surgery, which I will do."
Rui was shocked how Tsukasa xould do such a thing, why couldnt he just move on? Find someone else better than Rui.
I mean, Love is Love.
"Though it will take me a few days to pay." Tsukasa knew there was atleast a week until they let rui go, so he was planning to get the most money he can to save his boyfriend! Tsukasa was so sure his plan would work!
